---- The Carian sorceress had seen many an odd sight in her travels. Those who embedded glintstone into their crowns, to peer out from behind eyes like gems, those who had been twisted by the Scarlet Rot...
But this man seemed to have a helm with three sets of eyes. Large enough to have been born before the Shattering, Mary could only imagine what an aged entity like this could be up to. With a weapon that seemed like it could feasibly be used as an arcane focus, she decided to be wary, to follow from afar.
---- Her hypotheses relied upon the ornateness of its armor implying that it was not primarily a frontline combatant, but acknowledged that it was far more heavily armored and armed than most sorcerers. Perhaps it was not unlike the Carian Knighthood; a sorcerer-warrior wielding a trident. It couldn't well be tarnished, now could it?
So, Mary donned the mask of the scarab, and followed from afar, entirely comfortable studying this new creature and its movements, but ready to defend herself if needed.
