Fjonka stomped harder, exhibiting a bravery and assertedness I had no idea she possessed. mom turned and went back down the stairs. Good job, Fjonk. You sure showed those undead vampire rabbits who's boss.

not to sound like an immortal but 1925 should NOT be 100 years ago next year. wtf. that's the year Buster Keaton's "Seven Chances" and "Go West", Charlie Chaplin's "Gold Rush", AND Harold Lloyd's "the Freshman" came out. When you say "100 year old film" I'm thinking about those "moving pictures" that were essentially postcard illustrations projected onto the silver screen. But you're trying to tell me Sherlock Jr., a movie with a solid plot, interesting cinematography, and PEAK comedic timing is a century old??? shut up stop lying to me.

Nya's anger fascinates me. Kai is labeled the hothead of the group from the get-go but after gaining some confidence and closure he really mellows out and becomes much chiller. But Nya's anger never gets to burn out. She doesn't get closure on the things she's angry about, she's forced to push the feeling down to focus on whatever task she needs to complete and then it sits in her stomach and simmers until it boils over again. When her brother got character development and growth, she got fridged and traumatized. After being resurrected for the second time, how do you think she feels, seeing Kai smiling and careless? After all, he's the one who showed her how to feel about unfair situations. He's the one who taught her anger in the first place. So how come he got to snuff it out like it was nothing, while she still has to fight the raging storm inside her? It just isn't fair.

I love you clowns I love you puppets I love you stop motion I love you animatronics I love you porcelain dolls I love you marionettes I love it when someone makes a stylized caricaturized character and wills it to exist in the real physical world and then breathe life into it with acting, be it by animating or in real time through their body. It's all about Creating a Little Guy and communicating the beauty of the things you observe around you: the sadness, the humor, and the absurdity of life. And the comfort your audience feels, knowing that even if the Little Guy you created can only be viewed through a screen, it exists somewhere in the real world. You know what it would feel like to touch it. It may not seem realistic, and the limitations of the medium may be very visible, but they can tell it was made with love, and that's why it's wonderful

I want to see more appreciation for these art forms. please. I understand there is a certain uncanneyness that can be off-putting to some people, but come on. at least try to move beyond your initial knee-jerk reaction and notice the real human emotions that were the driving force of the artists. If I have to deal with 5 more years of google autofilling "creepy"/"scary"/"killer" into my search bar when I'm trying to discover new works in some of my favorite art forms, I'm going to lose it.
