Amber works hard and plays hard. She’s putting her music out there for her fans and for herself. She’s doing what a lot of people are too scared to do - never giving up, writing what she feels, singing it. The music might not ‘suit her image’, or get millions of views/streams/clicks/downloads/purchases, but there are plenty of people’s who don’t and yet they can still continue to do what they love. Not everyone is Beyonce or whoever you use for your standard of measurement.
We all have that indie or niche or homemade singer that we love that don’t get love from the entire world. That doesn’t stop me from loving the music or the people helping to get that music to my ears.
This is a PSA for people who like to use words like ‘flop’. Understand that success and happiness mean different things to different people.
