At what point was the show jumping the shark for everyone else? Because I know for a fact that everyone had at least 1 "what did this show become" moment.

For me it was "Keith spends 2 years on the back of space whale going through a time star and Lotor farms Alteans"

Keith's time jump was absurd but I could have handled that. Alteans are alive and being farmed by Lotor broke me.

What is Allura’s hair type?

Disclaimer: Its a personal opinion 

I wanted to talk to the voltron fandom about Allura’s hair, iv’e seen and heard arguments on Allura’s hair... is it straight? wavy? Afro textured? coily? My personal argument is that Allura’s hair is afro textured and I have proof to back it up!

Remember this scene? when the mice put allura’s hair in puffs? there is absolutly no way allura’s hair is straight lets compare it to straight hair... 

it is impossible for straight hair to do Afro puffs( unless a perm ) now lets take a look at a similar hair style close to Allura’s...

Allura’s hair must of looked like this but longer... an acurate picture of what might of looks like allura’s hair is this...

These are the best photos I could find but this seems to be the most accurate... but then again this is my personal idea of what her her might look like... there is no way her is straight friends.

1. Romelle and Allura are such a duo

3. Coran being mad about Allura and Lance's date got me good

4. Shiro winning the arm wrestle competition was something I thought I never needed but I did

5. Pidge's mom and Bae Bae are precious

6. Seeing the original paladins was amazing and so well done

7. Zarkon as the black paladin was so cute and precious I can't

8. Alfor and Allura hugging for the first time in forever made me sob aloud

9. Coran biting his teeth together while crying when Alfor told him to stay by Allura made me pause the episode and sob for minutes

10. SAM JUST CHANGE THE QUIZNACKING SOCKS

11. Holt's family picture made my day when Matt's significant other was in it as well

13. Umm I was quite dissapointed that Luka(?) wasn't related to Coran as I hoped

16. It really hit me that all Honerva wanted was to be with her family

... So we’re not gonna talk about how the Alteans, allegedly a race of Very Diplomatic Individuals, preaching peace and unity and whatnot throughout the galaxy, were also a race endowed with “super-strength” and could therefore literally strong-arm people into agreeing with them?

(I say “allegedly” because uh...we didn’t see a lot of proof of that in the show.)

I would just like to point out that at this moment in season 7 episode 2. When Coran is singing the altean alphabet, someone joins in. It’s not Allura, as we see her talking over it a few moments later; it’s Romelle. Romelle knows the same alphabet song as Coran. 

((Which means Lotor really was doing his best to preserve Altean culture.))

I have a theoryish thought.

The source or the birthplace of altean alchemy is Oriande. A realm shrouded in mystery and pink. It can only be accessed by the mark of the chosen. So far we know of four alteans who've been there. Alfor, Lotor, Honerva, and Allura.

What if the original inhabitants of Oriande began to die out so half them stayed behind to become one with everything and the other half left and found a dying planet where the inhabitants were a semi-primitive race of chameleon people who viewed them as gods. They planted a purplish-pink flower to breath new life to the planet.

The Juniberry flower which the ancients believed all life began. Collen Holt was able to bring them back by using other flowers that's related to the juniberry flower.

They eventually intermingle with their gods creating a new race with an old name. The Alteans. Over time only a handful could truly use alchemy, hence the mark of the chosen. All alteans can manipulate quintessence but only a few can use alchemy or alchemic items. The telladuv lenses.

Also possibly the Oriande beings may have intermingled with other compatible races that evolved differently over time due to belief system and environment. Like the Druids and Olkari.

Also, Also, Lotor's hidden colony where we see the scanning for something of the Alteans. Maybe checking for some of that ancient Oriande ancestor fume which may explain why the quintessence the Blade of Marmora and warlord ranvig was so pure. More of that on another post.
