Defenders Of Tomorrow Officially Being Written!!

Hey!! So I teamed up with @unstylish-dinosaur to start writing the Leakira/Akiandro Redux. It will take place AFTER VLD, so it's not really a rewrite. All of the paladins will get a new counterpart, and as such if any of you have any suggestions, like small little moments you want to see between characters, just let Alyssa or I know!! We'll try our best to fit as many headcanons in so that the max amount of people can enjoy the story! To be clear, Leakira WILL be ENDGAME and HAPPY!! This isn't meant to be in disrespect to DW or the VLD crew; Alyssa and I just really got on a roll with our headcanons and plotlines, and this story is already our baby. You can bet that your gay/lesbian/bisexual/POC boots will be quaking, so please keep a lookout for Defenders of Tomorrow on Ao3 and Wattpad!! Also, Alyssa and I are thirsty for fanart, so if anybody wants to either make art for the story, or doesn't mind letting us use already existing art (with us crediting the artist ofc) then please feel free to message!!

An Idea for Leakira? Defenders Of Tomorrow?

Okay so if you're gonna start a story you have to have a system of society.

Maybe a problem: Leandro and Akira are known for fucking up aliens and humans who are basically doing crime? The law enforcement don’t like them very much cause they basically do their job. The city they live in has a lot of poverty and Leandro and Akira are apart of that.

I imagine maybe they live in a run down like apartment that no one cares for and they make money by selling weapons they hand make maybe? Or one of them has a job but it doesn’t bring in a lot of money. The real problem is the government. Humans and Aliens co-exist now but Aliens see themselves as highly advanced and don’t think humans should be equal members of society.

This all starts when a human kid kills a very important alien guy out of self defense because (do we want it to be more PG13?) he tries to do something inappropriate to the kid. The alien society see this as all humans are dangerous, even children, of course other acts humans have done has lead up to this belief and also the aliens want an excuse to up rise.

The kid was an orphan, he runs away from the police and anyone and eventually meets Leanrdo and Akira, the kid explains what happens but Aliens are already on the move to start putting humans into slavery.

Of course there are aliens who don’t agree with this at all and act against the movement, they hide humans in their homes or not turn them in and those aliens are killed for going against the government.

Leanrdo and Akira and a group of others start working together to try and stop this! Uh just a food for thought?
