You find him there on the spacious bed you and him have shared for months now.
Valentin doesn't seem to notice you walk in, so he was probably attempting to reach out to his two counterparts he hadn't heard from for decades. You watched him murmur to himself as he held a gold-framed old mirror in his clawed hands. The claws flexed at times, scraping into the frame's gold as his eye remained on his mirrored image.
You couldn't really hear him from the doorway, so you stepped closer only to flinch when the floor squeaked under your step, your eyes drifting down to your foot as if you were scolding it, only to look up and notice Valentin look at you.
The silence between the two of you lasted for what felt like ages, so you decided to open your mouth, but Valentin moved first. The magician animatronic put down the mirror onto the bed and got up from where he was sitting, all while keeping eye contact with you. His steps were heavier than usual, but when he got close to you, you had to crane your neck back to look up at him, and he looked down at you.
That's when you finally noticed it. The maroon rays had subtracted into his faceplate, and his usual color scheme seemed to have shifted to blue. Your eyebrows furrowed as you took a step back. "Who... who are you?"
"..." The animatronic took a deep simulated breath as he reached his clawed hands over and gently cupped your cheeks in his massive hands. Holding your face hostage, all while his expression looked uncertain.
"... Moon. My name is Moon." His voice was deep and husky, like it hadn't been used for ages.
Your eyes got wide in shock. "Moon?"
