I cried buckets when Will had to sacrifice himself right after fully confessing to Mike. It was the only way, but absolutely heart-rending. At least Robin, Nancy, and Vickie all ended up together (such a cute polycule)

Saw this post and it made me think. So what if before season 4, Robin developed a crush on Nancy. But she lied to Steve saying it was a crush on Vickie because she didn’t have the heart to tell him she’s in love with his ex. But then she takes Steve’s advice and what ends up happening is Robin also develops a crush on Vickie. And then they both start dating after season 4. But Robin feels really guilty that her feelings for Nancy aren’t going away, they’re only getting stronger. It doesn’t help that with the quarantine and crawls, Robin spends much more time with Nancy than Vickie. Robin still likes Vickie tho and in the 18 month military lockdown, a part of her life that’s “normal” is important. But after Nancy’s near death to the mind flayer, Robin can’t stand to not tell her how she feels. But she needs to talk it over with Vickie first. The tricky part is, how do you explain to your girlfriend that you’re in love with her, and another girl at the same time? Well she does. She kind of blurts it out in a nervous ramble and braces herself for Vickie breaking things off. But Vickie doesn’t. Instead she’s very understanding. And she even lets Robin know something. Vickie also kind offff, likes Nancy too. I mean can you blame her? It’s Nancy fucking Wheeler. So Robin goes to confess to Nancy, and Vickie tags along to support her. She confesses to Nancy how she’s been in love with her for years and how she couldn’t face almost losing her. But she also explains how she’s with Vickie but Vickie also likes Nancy but she’s not sure how that’s supposed to work. Well Nancy of course, loves Robin back. After two boyfriends who struggled to ever listen to her, how could she not fall in love with Robin. Robin’s always made sure her voice and thoughts were heard. But she’s also seen how understanding and reassuring Vickie is with Robin and knows how kind she is. And if that didn’t make Nancy’s heart flutter. And she admits when she figured/found out they were dating she was jealous. But if both of them like her and want to date her, then she feels like the luckiest girl in the world. And none of them particularly know how all of them dating will work. But they’ll sure as hell give it a go.

I rambled here way more than I thought I would lmao (I hope it’s coherent). I love Vobancy (Rovicknance?) so much I just couldn’t help myself.

I keep getting torn between the cuteness of canon Rovickie and my insane love for Ronance. But then I realise I ship Vobancy too and then all is good. Like Nancy having two girlfriends she that love and support her. Having very similar feelings for Vickie like she did for Robin at first. Mild annoyance and jealousy turning into affection and love. Robin going from feeling like an outsider in Hawkins who doesn’t feel like she can be loved because of how her mother treat her but also being a lesbian in a small town in the 80’s. But then two girls are in love with her and make her feel like the happiest and luckiest girl in the world. Vickie finding two people who she can just be completely herself with and care for both.
