Chapter Twenty Three of Share the Wine is longer than I thought it would, but so it's so very exciting! I'm getting close to finishing the chapter. I didn't think it would take this long, but you know, it's getting closer to the end of the story, too. Also, I'm not sure if you can tell, but *sigh* I have adhd. 😄

Just a few things on how Share the Wine is going. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to change with season 5 and trying not to create plot holes. I'm soooo eager to have Nancy reunite with Vickie and Robin, but I'm trying not to rush the story either. I am working on a new chapter, though.

If Robin x Nancy x Vickie somehow accidentally made a baby together, how much would that baby look like Max? 😄

*something, something, they had a baby in an alternate universe or timeline, and that baby got sent to the past and/or their world. That baby is Max. . .just how did Vickie accidentally get pregnant by two women?

Of course!! ☺️

1. Vickie is a very private person, especially in the workplace.

Most of her coworkers at the hospitals weren’t even aware she was queer, or that she was seeing anybody, let alone that she was seeing TWO women.

Because of this, she accidentally becomes the star of the hospital’s rumor mill for a month or two after some of her coworkers see her with Robin and with Nancy at separate times. They definitely think she’s cheating on them. One of the nurses definitely DMs Nancy a ‘Hey girly!’ message.

When Vickie finds out, she’s mortified.

2. Speaking of social media…

Nancy is the only one with a public social media account, because of her job. Robin used to have one when she worked at the radio station, but once she quit there she deleted it all as she was too afraid of accidentally revealing her secret identity. Vickie has a private account and only uses it to post cute pictures of her girls. Only a dozen or so people follow her, she basically just uses it as a photo album.

Nancy gets weirdos in her DMs trying to flirt with her every now and then and, when she sees one, the three of them drink wine (whiskey for Nancy) and recite the messages in increasingly weird and dramatic voices and Nancy lets the other two come up with responses (Vickie keeps Robin from going overboard)

3. Vickie is terrified of heights but Nancy loves the thrill.

Vickie knows that Robin would never drop her or allow her to get hurt but she’s had a fear of heights since she was a kid and it’s hard to get over that. Sometimes she kind of wishes that she could let Robin take her out swinging like she does Nancy but she gets sick every time Robin has to swing her somewhere. But it’s fine, her girls being occupied with each other gives her some time to catch up on reading, and Robin always makes sure to give her extra attention after she’s spent alone time with Nancy…

4. They have a commitment ceremony after six years of being together.

It was a pretty small affair but all of the gang is there. They can’t all three be legally married, but they can promise themselves to each other and that’s good enough for them. Steve ‘officiates’ the ceremony, which was mostly vows and a ring exchange. Nancy and Robin wear white suits, Vickie wears a white boho lace dress. Each of the girls have two rings, specially made by a ring maker that Robin saved. The rings slot together, one from both of their partners.

The rings Nancy gives to Robin and Vickie are simple silver and she had the inside engraved with a quote, ‘To love and be loved’

The rings Vickie gives to Robin and Nancy are gold, and the inside is engraved with three hearts.

The rings Robin gives to Vickie and Nancy are black, and the inside is engraved with silver webs and all three of their initials.

5. But… Vickie and Robin are legally married.

It was a hard decision, but after a close call they realized that, if something unthinkable happened to Robin while she was protecting the city, she had no living next of kin. And if she was in the hospital and decisions needed to be made… It would be better if she had a legal spouse.

They decided it should be Vickie because of her awful relationship with her family. If anything happened to her, Robin would be her next of kin instead of them. With Nancy, she had her mother, and after that she would have her brother and sister.

Robin and Vickie had it done at the courthouse with Nancy as their witness and they didn’t have any sort of celebration or anything afterwards. It didn’t feel like something worth celebrating, anyway. The three of them went home and watched Nancy’s favorite movie— though she was insistent she was fine and didn’t need comforting, they could still tell she was a little upset. All it took was some time and her girls reassuring her that nothing would change between the three of them and she started to feel better.

Okay, some lighthearted ones now lol

6. Nancy and Vickie both think Robin’s suit is hot as hell.

They’re constantly hanging around her in the rare moments she’s in her suit while in the apartment.

Robin: *mask off* *literally just trying to have her breakfast before patrol*

Robin: *spider-sense suddenly goes haywire*

Robin: Can I help you two?

Nancy and Vickie: *both completely turned around on the couch* *blatantly staring at Robin’s ass* Yes.

7. People always think Nancy and Vickie are the couple and that Robin is their quirky third wheel.

They just let them believe it, it’s easier than answering their thousand invasive questions.

8. Robin likes to make big ‘web hammocks’ and take naps on the ceiling.

Sometimes her girls join her and she cocoons all three of them in her webs. She definitely evil laughs and makes jokes about how she’s captured them to fulfill her nefarious plans.

9. Nancy is adamant that she can think better upside down.

Sometimes Vickie walks in on her girlfriends hanging upside down on the ceiling, Robin holding Nancy as she scribbles in her work folder (When Nancy asks her to hold her upside down on the ceiling, Robin just can’t say no even though she does freak out a bit when Nancy’s face starts turning blood red) (“You’re still fine!” “A building fell on me last week and I was fine, Nance, I really don’t think it’s accurate to use me as a reference on how long a human can withstand anything.”)

10. Robin has tattoos of Nancy and Vickie’s lipstick prints on her rib, right next to each other, in red and pink respectively.

When she wears a sports bra around the house, the tattoos just barely show beneath the band. Nancy and Vickie go feral over it.
