Floral Prince by Field Medic Album Review

A surprising indie folk record with distinctive vocals and gentle simplicity that gives off a retro feel; coupled with modern day storytelling that is incredibly endearing. There is a real playfulness to some of the songs, even when they are mostly somber or covering melancholy subjects; the joy that was had while making the album comes through regardless and that brings out a lightness. It doesn’t weigh you down with all the emotions that demand to come through, but instead gives the listener a place to put their similarly had feelings.
