He’d thought he was looking at a really odd statue at first.  Or some human in a costume.  He’d thought that but extended watching of the strange thing on the docks was making it look like he’d been entirely wrong.

Tavi circled around again, not even bothering to look natural as he tried to eye the... android over.  He thought android was the right word.  Either way he could probably stand to be more subtle about it.

People were now frequenting her woods, which was going to be a problem if they stole her research. But this particular cry of surprise was alarming. It sounded off. Leaping from perch to perch, high above in the trees, the young woman soon located the person in distress.

Figured - it was a lone Angel blocking their path. Pulling her crossbow from her hilt, Tilla took aim and landed a critical on the beast, which immediately screamed and rolled over in defeat. “Hey, you okay down there?” She called out from her perch.
