☘️ - Relationship Dynamics With the Most Potential

Ravinewing has a lot of potential in terms of relationships! I think he and Fernsky could forge a strong bond if they talked properly about what happened to them with the bobcats, and I think they could be good influences on each other. He and Batshadow are vastly different, but it'd be fascinating if they talked about their mommy issues. He and Olivebranch only somewhat know each other through their bonds with Jasperchasm, but it'd be very fun for them to talk together! Really, the possibilities are endless with him outside of the relationships he already has - but these three are the ones that fascinate me the most atm!!

🌈 - Something I Want to Happen in Their Character Arc

I want Goosechase to have an opportunity to put its leadership to the test. Beyond training daltai, it really wants to prove itself as worthy of becoming Cladach's tanist should the opportunity arise. I can't decide whether it'd be more interesting for Goose to succeed or for its hopes to crash and burn, honestly both are good! But I want it to have what it believes to be the perfect opportunity!

Lilybell- This little woman's relationships are so funny. I adore her ridiculous dynamic with Wiresnap where they are besties who love each other so much but I could NEVER date ANYONE cause nobody is as cool as my bestest friend! CLUELESS, I TELL YOU!!!! I love the way they egg each other on too. Like, one of them will come up with just a supremely bad idea that should have been shot down immediately...but then the other one says "that sounds sick when do we start!" It's REALLY funny. But a close second is the fact that Lilybell has such inexplicable beef with Frostbite...but Frostbite is just like, do I know you? AND IT MAKES LILYBELL EVEN ANGRIER LIKE OH FROSTBITE IS THE WORST!!!

Heath Blossom- I think the red moon has inadvertently spurred him to creativity and I want to explore that! Like, FINALLY he has something he himself has witnessed that he can use as poetic inspiration, he's no longer just rehashing the events and actions of other people. Heath and Sorrel are both my characters but seeing how badly affected Sorrel was by that night...I honestly think he might have asked them about what they saw. Not as direct inspiration. Just...something to accentuate the story, punctuate the horror. Sorrel was among the most shaken after that night, so I can see Heath taking their fear and being like hehehe hoohoo time to write some scary things~! He might become more drawn to awe and fear than the typical joys and sorrows (epic high and lows, if you will) of HoneyClan. Which could end up VERY interesting for him!

Mossgaze- Given the exact same personality I think Tide!Mossgaze would be the kind to get REALLY into the TideClan interior decorating scene. I imagine her making beaded curtains out of shells to drape over the branches around her den. I think she, Sweetpaw and Beetlepaw would have connected really strongly- in another universe I like to think she took Sweetpaw on as an apprentice from the word go because I think both Sweet and Beetle have similar fascinations and interests. She would also probably be more associated with jellyfish in TideClan, where she's more associated with snapping turtles and fungi in ScaleClan. And instead of the scarification markings, she would weave fish scales into her fur!

Rocktalon- Her fall is one, just for the shock it was to everyone when it happened. I remember frantically DMing admins like "hey can I like...seriously fuck up Rocky's leg?" and I'm honestly so glad I did! The development of both her determination and her vertigo have been really fun and I think if anything it's made her more stubborn than ever before.

🍃Beesting & Leopardpelt (cause y not) alternate au bee becomes leader, literally runs CanyonClan straight into hell alternate au leo becomes the best stay-at-home dad (monarch) the clans have ever seen ✨Pinkcloud; i adore pinkcloud, she's one of my favourite youngsters! First impressions were essentially "wow, his design is very pretty", and ive enjoyed watching them and the rest of the teen squad grow up- its a very nice foil to the gloominess of hawk's generation :))

🍂-> hawk is friends with mothflame, olivebranch, and ravinewing! mothflame is his childhood friend, along with sunwing (rip). that being said, he’s friendly w anyone his age, since they all grew up together.  🤍-> it used to be his dream for kittens of his own, but he’s not sure if that what he really wants anymore. Caveshade’s moved on, his adult children have their own lives- it was hard to come to term with the deep sense of longing after he found out the truth, but luckily he’s made a lot of progress since then. He’s not entirely sure what his happiness is going to look like now, but he hopes that he’s at least close to getting it.  🧸-> not really? bee isn’t the material gurl type. i guess it would be simple pleasures when she’s not 100%, like a really delicious pika or being greeting by cold canyon floor after a day of hunting under the sun.

🌸Railspur, ☀️Velvetfang, ❄️Tarponshine, ☁️Sorrel Jig, and/or a little ☘️Sedgeclaw

Railspur- I think his and Sedge's particular brand of lovers to cringe to friends is REALLY funny, and him inadvertently radicalizing Pigeon is such a formative moment for her character that I can't NOT mention it, but I'm going to have to go with Tawnyoak and Leopardpelt.

Leopardpelt first because I'm a sucker for characters who find love YEARS into a friendship- and these two weren't even especially close in their younger days. Leopard had his wifey Caveshade and Railspur...well, *wanted* to have Condorstrike but you know how wars go. I genuinely don't think they would have ever considered each other potential romantic partners. But sometimes your best friend Dies In The War before you can confess and sometimes you go through an epic divorce and she gets 2/3 of the kids in the custody battle. I think both of them are really emotionally closed off from others because of that, but they find a weird kinship in feeling like they're kind of the last people to feel so inescapably stuck in the past. Railspur's basically resigned to it, his lesson he imparts to the kiddos is "don't become like me" instead of making any attempts to change. Sometimes I think they feel like they need someone to give them permission to be happy. If it really can't be themselves, I hope they can at least be that for each other.

Tawnyoak...bingus from my roleplays...I love Tawnyoak so much I cannot describe it. This family has lost so goddamn much but they're still trucking together. Tawny is ultimately THE most important person in Railspur's life. His bond with his nephew is ironclad, nothing Tawnyoak could do would ever change that like I think Railspur would help him hide a body and teach him how to lie to the cops fjkdfghsdhgkdj. If the Russetlings are the future of BriarClan, Railspur thinks Tawnyoak specifically is the future of CanyonClan. He wouldn't try to Nepotism his way into making a council seat (or god forbid Tawnywatcher) happen, but lord does he WANT it to happen. In his mind Tawnyoak is a strong, clear-headed cat with healthy ambition and an understanding that the clan is what matters most.

Velvetfang- See I would say Batshadow but I am pretty sure that the CanyonClan Gossip Girls would sooner shove her into a locker for being an insufferable know-it-all. I am REALLY enjoying her banter with Scarlet and I hope it develops into something funny. I want Velvet to befriend someone way more down-to-earth and maybe come out the other side less pretentious and a bit nicer.

Tarponshine- "TideClan has always been at the mercy of the whims of the sea while you have more dry land than you know what to do with! Tell me, Rushstar, if the storm is as bad as you say- what will TideClan do when the storm hits us? When the trees are ripped up and thrown far out to sea, what good will our mangroves do then? When TideClan is hit first- and mark my words, we will be hit first- will StormClan watch us die from the safety of their kittypet dens?" Tarpon going off at Rushstar was one of the few moments of genuine fury during their pathetic little leadership and I think they should do it again!

Sorrel Jig- I want to see Timber!Sorrel. Sorrel is such a lazy little sack of bones that they could ONLY have become the cat they are in HoneyClan. I wonder what she would have been like if the TimberClan School of Tough Learnin' had whipped her into shape.

Sedgeclaw- WE NEED TO HAVE SEDGE AND RAIL TALK MORE FOR FUCK'S SAKE!!!!!!!! HOWEVER what I want to see more is more Sedge and Orchidfrost. The epic highs and lows.....the *drama*......
