Vol 1 (2024), Vol II (2026), Angine de Poitrine
Spangly psych of the well-constructed, mercilessly pacey sort. Angine de Poitrine’s ‘pythagorean-cubist dada mantra-rock’ takes the foundations of King Gizzard’s Flying Microtonal Banana and adds a lot more fucking oomf. Highly (often nonsensically) theoretical these two volumes may be, they’re as much fun as I've had with rock music in the past few years.
