When will Maxie return from the war...
۞ 0 v 0
Pros:
----- They're both pretty passionate about their personal goals and none of them clash in any sort of way. Colress just being super enthusiastic about Maxie being this infamous Magma leader but also being someone that treats their Pokemon kindly enough to the point of being able to have a strong enough bond to Mega Evolve one.
----- Very long and insightful conversations. Colress loves just absorbing information from other people on subjects he’s not really an expert on, so he would soak up whatever he learns from Maxie like a sponge. If Maxie doesn’t get annoyed with his constant questioning.
----- Thanks to Maxie, Colress became an avid coffee drinker. So many, many sneaky coffee dates for them.
----- They can bond over their embarrassing past romances. >u>
----- Very, very kinky sex. ______________________________________________________
Cons:
----- Colress’s lack of concern for human life would probably end up crossing the line somewhere in his support with Maxie. Just like it did with Ghetsis in the past and why Unova almost became a gigantic frozen wasteland.
----- If they were open about their relationship it would probably stir up a lot of discomfort between the members of their respective teams. Can’t see Courtney or Tabitha being really thrilled about it. Ghetsis constantly jokes about it but he would be outraged by it and try and take stabs at Colress since he would take it as a personal offense.

Absolutely not.
It was Actually A Joke but alright
I’d probably have my ass handed to me by the other Execs if I even tried
💘 Yeah I'm gonna go there ||
put an 💘 in my inbox, and i’ll tell you what i think of our muses as a ship!
OKAY SO i will not deny having thought about it, i’ve talked about how much i really like the Magma leaders as an OT3. i think the only thing that would really hinder this as a ship would be Maxie’s way of looking at her; does he think of her as family? or is it something more complex than that?
Courtney isn’t really sure what her feelings towards Maxie are, at this point. she does care for him greatly and all she really wants is to help him to succeed, but beyond that, she’s unsure. is her affection familial? platonic? she doesn’t really comprehend.
onto the ship itself!

It was getting more difficult to hide her deep set insecurities, the fear that she fell short of the expectations Maxie had when he had her built, with the events of the past few days. Feelings of failure pervaded her every thought and she found herself waiting, expecting, to be reprimanded, or at the very least scolded. That it never came gave her no sense of relief.
She only wanted to make up for it, to make herself seem useful, taking on all the work she could, even things that would typically go to Tabitha. Several nights went without sleep before she was called up to the Magma leader’s office. An impatience in his tone set her on edge, despite how used to it she was at this point, still expecting the inevitable anger at her failing.
The room was dimly lit, Maxie with his back to the door as Courtney entered, cautiously. “Sir...” Her voice trailed off, eyes set upon a bouquet of flowers sitting on his desk. It had never been there before, and he had never seemed the type for such frivolous decorations to her. Treading further inside, she took the flowers into her hands, delicately turning them over until a card attached caught her attention.
Her name was on it and nothing else, to make certain there could be no mistake in who was to receive them. Slowly, she sank into one of the chairs at her end of the table, with an unfamiliar feeling of warmth spreading. How kind...Nose buried into the petals as she shrank into herself, simply appreciating the gesture for what it was.
Finally, after several moments, she raised her head to murmur, “Thank you...Maxie...”
