🍷Valerius🍷

He’s a pretentious man, so he claims to be above the drama, and says he’s not seeing either

And publicly, he’ll stick to this

However, he will be acquiring Barbie through potentially illegal means to watch it alone at home on opening night

🪱Vlastomil🪱

The worms vote for Barbie, so that’s what they will be seeing

He rents out the theatre to bring his “children” with him

The biggest problem is that he does this with the very first showing, so pretty much everyone hates him

🩸Vulgora🩸

Oppenheimer, 100%

However, they’re disappointed with the lack of violence. They expected more.

Will not be seeing Barbie, unless they hear that it somehow has more violence than Oppenheimer

🍖Volta🍖

Another true Barbie girlie!

Super excited to see it, and buys an ungodly amount of snacks (they were planning on sneaking snacks in, and even though they were successful, they still went back and bought the theatre snacks as well)

Tears up a little when the movie starts

Does not see Oppenheimer; simply no interest

💀Valdemar💀

True neutral

Does end up watching Oppenheimer first, but is also sorely disappointed by how respectful the film is being

Ends up watching Barbie immediately after; nobody knows why, or what they think about it. They never mention it again

So...has anyone else noticed that all the Courtiers' names start with "V"? Valerius, Valdemar, Vulgora, Volta, and Vlastomil. I think I know why that is...

Recall that Vesuvia is somewhat based off Rome, and most likely Venice. Notice their official titles (in order of their names listed above): Consul, Quaestor, Pontifex, Procurator, and Praetor.

These are all Roman titles! Now, how does that explain why they might all have names that start with "V"?

Well...think of the Roman Numerals! Count the Courtiers and you will say there are five of them.

Wilmina and her relationship with everyone

Consider an upright ending where everyone lives, including Lucio and his courtiers. This is how it would be.

Asra: The absolute best thing ever for her, he is/they are (if you go for nb baby) the light of her life. She brings him/them tea while he's busy with work, and he/they returns the favor while Wilmina studies more about her past and connects more dots.

Julian: Her best friend (my best friend's OC) is with him, so she knows him well. Between the times either or both of them have snuck in and the times they shared some good pizza. He's a good friend to her too, she often teaches him about how Tarot and the different cards work.

Nadia: A friend and ruler. Wilmina sometimes visits her for dinner, and offers her advice using her own Tarot deck. Though she never hangs around the palace for too long; the stuff and attention she gets can quickly overwhelm her.

Portia: Tiny friend! Wilmina loves to help Portia with irrigation systems for the palace, and can tell if there's poison in the water or anything else unsavory. They both bond over the woes of curly hair.

Muriel: She has a little necklace made from the stems of myrrh plants, along with a little pouch filled with the dried leaves. She helps him with keeping up a healthy routine, and also a bigger bed for the poor man.

Lucio: Often likes to mess with him. Which is cool because Lucio likes to do so too. Otherwise, Wilmina keeps away. Lucio is pretty interested in her overall, when it comes to what makes her tick.

Volta: T i n y! She kinda likes Volta, she's cute in a strange way.

Vulgora: Nah, scary.

Vlastomil: hmmm... He isn't terrible, but she's still a little wary.

Valdemar: Very curious about them and their history.

Valerius: Holy heck that's a lot of wine.
