I've said it before and I'll say it again. We need a "This is absolutely NOT mature content" feedback button on posts. You can report a post as missing a community label. We should also be able to report posts as having a comminity label when they dont fucking need one.
i really wanted a replica of Asra's necklace but the only available ones i could find being sold were WAY out of my current spending ability especially before i reopen art commissions and while i'm trying to save to move out, so i just decided to order the parts to make my own
so just a heads up that i will be receiving my supplies within the next couple weeks and since i had to buy everything in bulk i'll have extras! materials cost me *about* $5 each and i have to do some work on the strings to soften them up (waxed cotton is pretty stiff and i probably should have gone with leather if i wanted something super high quality but i'm trying to minimize animal product usage where i can) and then some minimal assembly so i think $15 each + shipping would be fair?
i'm going to list them on Ko-Fi but i'll only have 18 of them available so lmk if you want to basically reserve one (just lmk and i'll keep you notified when they're ready to be listed!)
if there's enough interest i can be persuaded to make these a regular shop item but if not then these are the only ones that'll be made and sold :)
my camera died but a bunch of my other merch samples arrived too, specifically the kurtis conner and the iron lung stuff, once my camera charges i'll post about those too :)

report and block. i'd also appreciate it if you shared this post, bc that blog was JUST created and was already tagging a LOT of people, and i know not everyone has the scam-sensing instinct, even if this might seem obvious to some.
Me: "Damn people are REALLY BAD at knowing when to tag their eyestrain art/images...either that or they just don't care about photosenitive epileptic people like me. I feel really sad now."
Person: "But Allison, what if they just don't know or understand what qualifies as eyestrain and what doesn't?"
Me: "You know what? That could be a factor...While it is always better to be safe rather than sorry (so YES people should always tag eyestrain even if they're unsure if it "counts" or not) maybe you've got a point?"
Anyways! HERE'S YOUR HANDY GUIDE TO WHAT CAN COUNT AS EYESTRAIN! I'm pulling this straight from the Artfight rules page about what needs to be labeled and filtered as eyestrain because it's VERY helpful and VERY accurate! I also know not everybody has an AF account and might not always have access to this handy guide, and this is an important resource; That's why I'm sharing it here! (under the cut)

"But Allison! How were you able to screenshot that example if you're so sensitive to eyestrain?"
I dimmed the HELL out of my computer screen and looked away while taking the screenshot and did the same when putting it into this post, that's how lol. BUT YEAH ANYWAYS!!! Once again:
