Played Liam's route (Love Brings You Home) and i was a little surprised.
The first chapter is pretty "different" and is really weaker than the rest of the story. In fact Liam is a big cute teddy bear, he is indipendent and a open mind person, pretty different from the first impression he give. Is likely that it was done on purpose, since "what you see/what it really is" is one of the main themes but i feel like it was a little too much.
From chapter 2 is a really wholesome slice of life, the vibes is pretty different even for stories from the same title. I feel like the drama was tamed down and was more realistic. While there are problems in the MC and Liam life, they have an emotional impact but are not dragged even Liam's first problem that start the story.
Liam character is actually very sweet, he have a REALLY big boyfriend/husband energy. The biggest "drama" is about his insecurity but i think it was managed pretty well, even this is somewhat diluted in the following chapters but not minimized, expecially for Liam's character.
As i say one of the them is the difference between "what you see/what it really is" connected to the theme of stereotypes and prejudice, it's not a really strong theme too, or better it's not heavy to read and it's subtle in some things (in particular in MC problems)
In the end i think it's a really enjoyable route, it's not about passion or drama but with its realism it knows how to involve you. Not for everyone but pleasant anyway
