After hearing about how much Lance missed rain, Pidge decided to build a device that would scan earths weather at specific coordinates and then transfer it into that magical altean landscape room in the castle.  The room would then generate whatever part land that was scanned, complete with generated sounds, weather, and smells.  Pidge scanned one of his favorite beaches back home, and surprised him with a rainy taste of home.  Needless to say, Lance was ecstatic :)

We Have A Problem

I was re-watching all of Voltron with a friend and in the very first episode I noticed something.

In the first episode of the first season, Team Voltron goes to space on Blue. They are intercepted by a Galra cruiser a few seconds later, and a chase begins. Very soon, the team notices that they’re all the way out by Kerberos. Which is sill in our solar system.

Issue begins here. Blue opens up a portal to the Castle of Lions, so that the Paladins can get away from the Galra cruiser. And the Galra cruiser DOESN’T make it through. Which is good for our protagonists. Except, the Galra cruiser didn’t make it through. As in, the Galra cruiser is STILL IN EARTH’S SYSTEM.

If you take a look at the captain of that ship, I’m pretty sure that we don’t see them again. I have a bad feeling of what this entails for Earth. What if Team Voltron makes it back, but the Galra in that sector beat them to it? I dunno, but I’m nervous already.

Earth

I think on Earth everyone’s going to have an emotional moment specific to their character. Pidge and Matt are reunited with their whole family. Hunk sees his mom. Lance meets his family in Cuba. Shiro sees the Garrison and his family. And lastly, I imagine Keith’s sweet moment as visiting his fathers grave holding his moms hand.

Somethings fishy with Earth

*season 6 spoiler in the VERY last line and is only a joke*

First when the galra took the Kerberos mission members they where relatively close to earth (in space terms), but then the Galra just ignore earth?

Then there’s the Terra shop in the space mall meaning that the greater space community KNOWS about earth, you can even GET things from earth. They seem to think of it as sort of an out of the way place thats more of an novelty than serious.

Conclusion: Galra know and have some kind of trade relationship with earth.

My theorys

1) Earth has 0 quintessence and its really far away so the galra empire just dont care about it. Some individuals in the empire think they have neat stuff though!

2) Galras TRYED conquering earth, but earthlings are both tougher and crazier than they look (we literally have countrys that keep enough bomb to destroy the whole planet just in case another country decides to set off their world destroying bombs), so they gave up. Not wanting anyone to know of their failure the galra marked earth as a random easily forgettable planet out in the middle of nowhere.

3) option 1 or 2 happens then earth decides they want to open trade with the Galra, they say k. So galra gives earth advance tech (Keiths hover bike) and earth gives the Galra people (the Kerberos mission).
