The visuals for Episode 11 are out and I cannot help swooning at these two scenes. I cannot find fault on the characters’ designs.

But like the others I find that it is not needed to make a recap longer than five minutes.

It is enough to dive in to the episode and get on with it.

Especially if we are going to see these scenes tonight. These manga panels were at the core of rumours of a possible continuation of the Public School arc a year ago.

And Wolfram aiming with his pistol. The shinigamis will return and the tear-jerking scenes with Siggy.

My Girl Genius volume 21 Kickstarter shipment arrived today, three days earlier than estimated. Yay! The reason I have so many books in my shipment is because, now that the Foglios are finally offering hardcover reprints, I am slowly replacing all of my paperback Girl Genius volumes with HC editions as fast as possible.

Ah yes. The final english volume. Chapters 165-175

I'm only at Vol9 but I still need to talk about this.

TokyoPop released Volume 21 on May 10, 2011 (JP release was September 2010 so we were closer than the French release)

The Original US TokyoPop stopped publishing on May 24, 2011 when they transferred all their rights back to their original Japanese companies. Meaning this manga was officially sold new for 14 DAYS. TP didn't close their original publishing doors until May 31 so that's an extra 7 days where they could've been releasing partially unauthorized copies (fun!)

So you may assume that since this was such a late release, I could settle for a ViZ Media scan. As the website I use for TokyoPop scans stops at Volume 14 (TokyoPop had some corperate rearrangement in 2008) I doubt 2011 TokyoPop has different editing practices than 2015 ViZ Media anyway. We established in the Italian version that ViZ simply uses the masters they have....
