Okay seriously people.
Voting so that you are "allowed" to complain about the government but playing "eenie meenie miney mo" on the ballot is almost no better than not voting!!
Also:
1) Voting for someone as a "joke" is irresponsible and dangerous. This isn't your student committee - this is the federal government that will run the country and affects MILLIONS
2) Saying you don't like any of the parties is fine, but at least pick one of the lesser evils so we don't end up with some coporate ass that cares more about money than the people. Which leads to . . .
3) Saying you dislike one party "just because you do" is not a valid reason to discount them if you have valid reasons to hate every other party
We, as a whole, need to learn to take responsibility. We're blessed to have a democratic government and have the chance to pick who runs our country and yet we dismiss this freedom constantly. This isn't just one generation either. I know people from 18 up to 60 who don't vote for a lot of ridiculous reasons or vote for stupid reasons, so I'm not picking on just one generation. We're all responsible here
Please, everyone Canadian reading this: if u do one thing right this year, vote. Especially if ur 18-25 years old, our age group is the least likley to vote.
Whos voting October 19th?
A quick video on why it's important to vote in the upcoming Canadian election
