Cloaked figure leaves him feeling a little off, for some reason he cannot quite place— most of his seemingly irrational paranoia come from those few weeks, but Shibuya’s streets hadn’t ever been plagued with cloaked figures ( only hooded ones ). So, he’s maybe a little anxious, a little cautious: fine. That’s fine. That’s not really something out of the ordinary. The rest of this situation is a little less fine, but on the brightside, he’s at least, uh. Not really anxious anymore.

“You don’t need to apologize, you know.” Brows furrow, gaze shifts down between them to his ( now empty ) cup of coffee and other’s ( now freshly stained with coffee ) cloak. “Wasn’t it still kind of hot...?”

➼┊ Claude had gotten pretty use to his roommate by this point, Yamabagiri was easy enough to talk with though he seemed ... shy ? self-conscious? Self-conscious. That’s the conclusion claude had settled on while thinking about the other man. He was curious about him, though he did already tell him a bit about himself, how he was a “copy” of another person ... or spirit, in his case, and how where he came from he did a lot of chores and seemed to be taught how to fight, or maybe he just knew how from the moment he came into being ? It was still a very foreign concept to claude and he was trying to wrap his mind around it.

➼┊ Though if they are roommates, he certainly wanted to get along with him, there is no point in having a roommate and then you two just wanting to be at each others throats (though a certain prince and one of his best friends could be like that, now that he thought about it ...), so there is no harm in chatting with him right ?

          Despite the mental exhaustion that seems to follow them, Byleth finds that they can’t sleep in. They had a similar problem like this back in the Monastery, nights where they would be unable to sleep. And it had taken countless nights, where they had to distract themselves by strolling at late of the hours or reading about the Monastery in the library that they had. Tonight Byleth wanted to read, maybe learn something about this place and If not... It was worth the try.

          With fingers taking the edge of the page, there was a soft sigh escaping their lips. Only when she was about to flip the page, that they heard a sound. Emerald eyes immediately shifting to the direction, she shows no hesitation when noticing a figure --- Instead of saying something, she decided to continue on reading, only glancing a few times to see if the figure had moved or done something.
