“Vox was only trying to conquer heaven because Alastor rejected him.” “Vox would’ve been content to stay on the sidelines if Alastor had said yes.” BORING. Put some respect on Vox’s name. Didn’t we all watch Brighter? Alastor was right- Vox is a power hungry, attention-starved, absolute vacuum of a man, who’s destined to keep climbing and climbing until he burns himself out. He’s like a gambling addict, each win just stoking the fire, chasing after more until he finally succumbs to his own manic delusions of grandeur. (Yes, Alastor added fuel to the fire) (yes, Vox is obsessed with Al, probably because winning him over is the one goal he could never accomplish). I’m just saying, Alastor rejecting him and then fucking with his head for decades DIDNT HELP, but Vox would’ve committed to the whole conquering Heaven bit eventually either way- it’s the obvious next step after conquering Hell, and as stated above, the man is hungry. Also, if he had pulled it off, he would’ve been miserable, because what’s even left after that?

Im venting because Vox is genuinely such a fun, interesting character. Sucks to see a baddie be reduced to their relationship lol. Vox being obsessed with The Demon Twink that’s Preying On His Downfall™️ is just the cherry on top.

TLDR: I love RadioStatic, but please give Vox some credit- he was rabid with ambition and swimming in delusion long before Alastor entered the picture. He was always going to be the one to nuke himself, Al just helped speed up the process.

Is it just me or like,,,

Does anyone else notice the hair color difference vox has throughout the song brighter? I pointed it out on a video I saw that his hair gets grayer throughout the song (example is the multiple streaks of gray that show up in his hair) to show the amount of time this had all been going on for just as what I thought was a fun fact and people are telling me they don't see it, someone else said that it was hair gell which confused me cause what does hair gell have to do with hair color lol,,, does anyone else see it? Just so I know I'm not crazy 💔
