To the Crew
Thank you for your hard work and diligence. I've got some time left in sickbay, but I'll be back on duty as soon as possible.

To the Crew
Thank you for your hard work and diligence. I've got some time left in sickbay, but I'll be back on duty as soon as possible.
This is Porthos, the pet of Captain Jonathan Archer. Isn't he adorable? Captain Archer took Porthos with him on the Enterprise. I can't imagine how he had the time to take care of Porthos, but it certainly would be wonderful to have a sweet little one like this to cuddle at the end of a long day.
Caramel brownies in the mess hall!
Due to a generous gift of replicator rations from @joyful-voyager (whoever that is), I have left six batches of caramel brownies in the mess hall along with coffee and milk. Please enjoy! 😀 But please don't ask for the replicator recipe. My mother accidentally locked me out of the recipe when she programmed it into the replicator.
Final Message to my Crew
Computer: post to all Voyager crewmembers in the event of my death.
If you are reading this, then I am gone. Obviously I don't know the circumstances of my death. I can only hope that it was quick and meaningful.
Please know that being your captain has been the greatest honor and privilege of my life. Of course captains always feel responsible for their crew and are concerned for their safety and well being, but what I feel for each one of you goes beyond that.
I stranded you here in the Delta Quadrant and demanded much of you and you rose to the occasion magnificently. We became a family rather than just a crew and I'm so proud of everything we've accomplished.
I wish I could have stayed with you, but I know that @firstofficerchakotay-flute will be an excellent captain and will lead you home just as I would have. It's all right to give him the respect he deserves as your new captain. It doesn't take away from what you felt for me. I hope you will support him as you did me.
Never forget my care and concern for each one of you.
I don’t think there’s anything more beautiful than Voyager.
Mandatory Away Mission Protocol Training
Alien was certainly an entertaining movie last night @thebestparisyouhave Thank you for keeping us on our toes with these fun and frivolous social activities.
On a completely unrelated note, it has come to my attention that the crew needs a refresher on proper safety protocols during away missions. Commanders Chakotay and Tuvok will be conducting these trainings over the next two days. Participation is mandatory. The away mission to the derelict station will not take place until all crew members scheduled to attend have completed their training. Thank you @firstofficerchakotay-flute and @voyager-security for your time and diligence in carrying out this training.
This is a very old music recording from one of Earth's early astronauts. It really captures what it feels to be out here, doesn't it? I've been sitting in the mess hall by myself in the dark just watching the stars stream by, thinking about how far we've traveled and what we've seen.
First Post
Greetings! I’m so glad to join you here. I think this new Tumblr program is going to allow us to get to know each other better and interact in new ways. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone join!
Well, I’ve been told I need to describe what I’m planning to do with this blog. Since you hear enough about ship’s business from me each day, I’m intending to mainly post about some of my personal interests:
1. Dogs: I miss my Irish setter, Molly, but looking at pictures and recordings of other dogs always cheers me up. I’m sure they will do the same for you.
2. Books: I love to read when I have the time. There’s nothing like the feel of a real book in my hands. Please send me your recommendations if you find something good in the ship’s database. I enjoy the classics, but I’m open for any suggestions.
3. Scientific discoveries: This is why we’re all out here, isn’t it? I never cease to be amazed by the new wonders we find out here and I’m looking forward to sharing them with you.
4. Recipes: I need tried and true replicator recipes. I only want recipes with exact measurements and directions that have already been tested in a replicator here on Voyager, preferably more than once.
Of course, you are always welcome to ask me questions. I will attempt to respond in a timely manner, duty permitting.
