starter for @glvtter & @vrsonist with nao ( nara) & sunghoon
outfit: ♥
she was supposed to have clocked out five hours ago, however, nara didn’t leave sunghoon’s house because she thought she should stay and help him some more with his work. that was the excuse she used, and she also wanted to cook something for him later on. the time was getting late and even though she brought food to sunghoon two hours prior, nara decided she should go make him a small wrap again so he wouldn’t go to sleep on an empty stomach.
as someone who rarely gave her full trust in someone, that was someting she learned while in the agency, nara had found herself trusting her boss more than she would normally trust anyone. she had been taking care of him as more than just a secretary, and she had already built a certain profile of who he was in her minds. sunghoon was an uncorrupted human being, and that was a trait that she had yet to decide if it was good or not. one thing was certain, she could never say the same thing about herself. however, that hadn’t stopped her from appreciating him and wanting to protect him. he was her precious mister mayor.
that was why after she had realized that there was someone who was watching them occassionally, and had even wiretapped the house - of course she disposed of them all- she had decided to spend more time with him and for the past two weeks she had been wearing her special mission uniform to hide her identity and patrol the house. according to her calculations, if the one following them was more than just a spy, things wouldn’t escalate, but if he were an assassin, the two weeks period of watching the target had come to an end, so, she was on standby.
while nara was about to bring the sandwich to him, that was when she came face to face with the assassin. he froze, for he didn’t expect that he would find someone apparently going up the main staircase of the house. but before he could react nara threw the tray with the sandwich up in the air and his eyes for just a few seconds did look up, that opening was enough for nara. she ducked down punching him right on his solar plex but he responded with his own punch. she dodged, span elbowed his back. she knew he had a gun, she wanted him to draw it and that was when she gave him the chance. she span to his left - had already figured that he was right handed- grabbed his arm span the other way twisting it, he groaned in pain but she expected he would try to find an opened and use his right hand to fire at her from his left side. he was playing right on her choreography by that point because she yanked his left arm up dislocating the shoulder and with her free hand she grabbed the gun very quickly when the pain had caused his nerves to relax and stole the gun from him. she threw the gun down the staircase and as he turned around to fight her with just one arm she grabbed his hand and pulling him she threw him right against the wall. and ‘bam’ he was down on the floor. nara then pretended to be in panic because had heard the door open and sunghoon could have come already.
looking towards the right side of the aisle she noticed him staring. “mister mayor!” she quickly went to him to check if he was okay at first. nara scanned him from head to toe. “thank goodness you’re safe! he must have worked alone.” her worried gaze met his in an attempt to make herself seem innocent. “that man is an assassin! he had a gun! but he wasn’t very skilled, the moment he saw me he dropped it out of shock.” she said and quickly went towards the unconscious intruder. “he came in to kill us! let’s tie him up quickly so we can interrogate him and find out who sent him! we need ropes!"
