A sort of half smile forms in response. It’s the best she can manage. One day didn’t mean a whole lot when you only had so many left...

Amaterasu called them ‘nigh invulnerable gods’, but anyone could see that wasn’t true. One only had to look at the Pantheon members they’d already lost. It didn’t give Minerva much confidence that they wouldn’t all meet the same fate.

   Obsidian cranium moves to gesture to the crimson circles and sigils laid on the floor, jagged lettering from an unknown spell resided within the lines. Pallid fingers make to curl within her palm and out, already she’s expecting the dead to rise. She’s only hoping that witchabulous here has tangoed with the like before.
