2025 in art 🔆 This year, I didn’t draw very much - the start and the middle of the year were good, but toward the end of the year... ugh ≧ ﹏ ≦ I barely got any commissions, and for the first time, I fell a little scared ;; What if this is the end of my good art phase? What if I have to find a “real” job? 🫠
I think I know where it's coming from - I definitely focused more on my "real life" than on art this year. I experienced more, and I have a richer life than ever before, but I didn’t realize my art blog would be the cost of it...
I need to learn how to balance creating and living, I guess. If I may be vulnerable here: I’m wondering whether I should quit or change career paths to enjoy drawing more again - or if I should try to be more consistent, make time for art, and gently push myself to keep going(;´д`)ゞ Tbh. one week in a “normal” job and I’d quit and go back to drawing, so I never have to work “normally” again LMAO Also, why does every art summary I make have to be depressing every year? lol I love every one of you who’s still here! U r the best 🩷
