“Steven! When did you pierce your ear!” “Oh!” Steve gapes. “Shit,” Eddie mutters. Steve grins, combing his hair now softened hair behind his ear, “Robin did it! It bled a lot and then it got so infected.” He scrunches his nose, eyes widening in disbelief like this is a perfectly normal revelation. Eddie shudders, clearly very aware of the situation. Diane purses her lips. A lecture will have to wait for a more sobering hour.

stobin odd jobs!!!!!!!!! this is part of a ~group project~ led by @theheadlessphilosopher of stobin working a bunch of random jobs? lol my piece of it has them working a seasonal job in a lingerie shop together, because that was MY weird part time job when I was in college and I feel like it fits for them 😌

I don't actually have snippets to share for this one yet because right now the doc is just me dumping my brain onto the page, but it involves stobin and hellcheer as separate sets of roommates, Steve being ANNOYED that the manager of the lingerie shop wants him to work stock instead of on the floor, and steddie and buckingham getting together

I'd love to have it done to post in time for Valentine's Day? 🤞

Re: Aftermath - I love this series. I'm excited you're working on the next bit! As far as questions - Natasha seems to be doing a bit better with Clint, Tony, and Laura if she's babysitting/kidnapping accomplice. Was there a "work things out" sort of moment, like with Clint and Tony and the supermax/cars scenes?

Sort of. Not quite the same way, though. Nat and Tony’s first moment of more normal behaviour towards each other was just a brief thing in The Swear Jar, when Tony left the team meeting to deal with the bank robbery. Clint and Nat made up in Compromising Positions by beating the crap out of each other. It’s been a slow rebuild since then, but I could certainly put more in there. :)

Hey! Reverse is amazing. New chapters are one of the highlights of my week. I'm also super excited about the Lazarus story. I <3 Starrk, and I have a total soft spot for Starrk/Shunsui. Plus I adore the idea of Regulus!Starrk taking in Harry and getting him the fuck away from the Dursleys. Sidenote: lgbt women are shamefully missing in fanfic, and I love so much that you pair them. (I mean, you have a wife, so... reasonable, but still appreciated!) Thanks for writing! No response needed. :)

Shunsui/Starrk is probably in my top 5 fave Bleach pairings, so I’m really excited to actually write them, oh my god. And yes, Harry getting away from the Dursleys is just. Everything. 

(The lack of women in most fanfics always confuses me, though that’s probably mostly down to the lack of women in media, which is just. Grr.)

Eddie lets out a strangled noise in protest, and Steve looks back, with a confused, “What’s up, Eddie?” still unzipping his jeans, and then they’re on the floor and he’s stepping out of them in his fucking—tight white briefs and tube socks, and folding his jeans up like nothing is happening, then his tube socks go too and Eddie thinks his heart is well on its way to following them, beating against his ribs like he’s just run the mile.

Here's more of Dotty, and we finally meet Steve!

He’s holding a crumpled sheet of paper with what look to be diagrams on them, perhaps instructions on some cheap swedish furniture, given these kids’ age, but the moment he sees Dotty, it gets discarded back into the bedroom.

“Eddie, why didn’t you say we had company? Hi, my name’s Steve, it’s a pleasure to meet you! Is this yours?” He gestures to the casserole Eddie still holds with a charming smile. Much better.

Dotty straightens her posture with pride. “Dotty, it’s good to meet you, too. And yes, it is. George and I next door thought you young folk could use a nice welcome to the neighborhood.”

“Eddie,” Steve responds, teasing, tilting his head just so and tugging on Eddie’s sleeve where he hasn’t let go. “You wanna…?”

It’s exactly where Eddie expected things to go, but it’s still somehow a surprise. It shouldn’t be, at this point, but fuck. He chuckles a little, a little because yeah, buttfuck, and a little because, well, Steve is right there, his lashes long and close enough to tickle Eddie’s flushed cheeks as he nods vehemently, muttering “Yeah.” Obviously he wanna. Not enough to accidentally headbutt Steve with a nod! But hopefully enough to indicate that yes he is one thousand percent in.
