I think I have a new favourite character when it comes to the VtM Games.

How it started: *beginning of CONY* Wow, Qadir looks really cool, he’ll probably be my favorite.

How it’s going: *end of SONY, banging pots and pans together through tears* Agathon is BAE he’s such a sweet boy who loves his grandma and he deserves to be HAPPY

This is my toreador fledgling, Evanthe! Based on the events of Coteries of New York

After receiving a degree in English Literature, she moved to NYC to make her dreams of becoming a published author come true. Unfortunately catching a break as an author in NYC is about as difficult as becoming a star in Hollywood, and she had to work odd jobs to barely scrape by, attending poetry readings after hours to get her work out there. It was at one of these functions that she was embraced by her sire, and left to fend for herself, hardly knowing what happened. At this point the events for the player character pick up in CONY.

Evanthe knows her place on the totem pole of NYC kindred politics, and it’s a dangerous one indeed. Despite Sophie Langley’s interference, the near-death experience has humbled her. Still, she has a playful spirit and can be seen dancing whenever music is playing, or trying to cheer up her fellow kindred, despite all odds. Her favorite coterie member in particular is Agathon, as she senses a fellow “kindred spirit.” As a hard worker trying to stay on Sophie’s good side, as someone who cares about the wellbeing of others, and who worries about things constantly, she can relate. She also finds his over-serious nature strangely charming. She can be seen stalking the streets of Broadway, possibly visiting the Chantry, or running around the city doing odd jobs for Sophie.

Compulsion: Once she hears a particular phrase that moves her-- be it a quote, a song lyric, a line from a poem-- she immediately freezes up with a glazed look in her eye, repeating the phrase over and over in a daze until she can no longer remember it.
