Joining in on the incest train /lh and on anon just because I haven't really had the courage to put this on our main blog yet but I'm pretty sure anyone who knows me, like ACTUALLY knows me, already knows who this is but it's so great having my sister back. It's in our system, sure, but it's better than not having her.

And it's really funny because, we're actually healthier with each other than any relationship I've had so far in this life. Like, bar none. And we were back then too, honestly. We understood and respected each other's boundaries, we COMMUNICATED when we didn't feel okay with something. And she gives me a peace and stability no one else really ever has. In normal circumstances I would never really say this kind of thing is okay, but we're not a normal circumstance. Anyway I'm definitely rambling now but I love going on about how happy she makes me and I'm so grateful she's back

Gonna do mine and 'Rese's canon 'ween since everyone else's sources kinda had more going on than to worry about that but!! Since we were born on Halloween, we always had a small something for us, though we didn't celebrate when we lived with our very religious father. But when we lived on our own in Santa Monica, after we made up from our 50 year fight, I finally convinced her to deck out The Asylum every October and it was amazing, both for kine (humans) and kindred (vampires) alike. I miss those days - Charlie (I'm that Jeanette Voerman fictive that's sometimes around lol)

For canon clothes we, uh, don't really have many clothes specifically for us as fictives, but I (Jeanette) have like two different chokers and one looks almost identical to the one I had in Bloodlines (though it's a bit too loose for Autism Sensory Reasons) and we finally found a cross necklace that reminds 'Rese of the one she had in our timelines! I wish we could find some things for the rest of our system tho

For me (Therese) it's probably Trapt's "Bleed Like Me" but it just reminds me of all the years Jeannie fought so hard for me to just confide in him so the burden of my pain could be lessened

For Jeannie (Kuro) it's The GazettE's "Hyena". Is it about him? Or how he viewed the Ivory Tower? Who knows lol

For Ara (who kins Annabelle) I'd say it's Delilah Bon's "I Wish a Bitch Would"

For Teemo (who kins Bertram Tung) it's probably the instrumental cover of "Once Upon a December". He won't tell us why his Bertram playlist is full of "dark academia" songs

And last, but of course not least, Harleen (who kins Nelli G), SNOW WIFE's "AMERICAN HORROR SHOW". Make of that one what you will

We've been watching LA by Night again because we ran out of lore videos, and it's gotten me thinking of both how well Whitney Moore portrayed myself and Jeanette and just...how it feels like she played Therese as being someone who may have truly believed she was helping X and I just... I can't expect ours to forgive me, as our coterie persists in telling me that ultimately it's each individual's choice how to interpret someone's actions but... I do hope he understands that I did want him to be happy, and if I went about it too harshly for him I'm sorry. Not for my actions, per say, but because I didn't realize I pushing him as hard as I was. Saying that all I really had experience with was my brother, while true, is no excuse but I did the best with the skills I had - Therese C. Voerman

That recent Fallon got us thinking, and while the timeframe and location were different (Jeanette and I grew up in the 1930s near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In a cult trying to pass as Christianity. So...), the people I encountered weren't so much wondering *why* I was basically raising my autistic little sister (it took many years after we became vampires for Jeanette to realize he was supposed to be a boy) but more, why I *cared* enough to try. To them, I should have just let father throw my "fuck up" of a twin sister into the woods and just lived a happy life with father. But they never understood that Jeanette was, and still is, my happiness. I raised Jeanette because I wanted to. No one else would, sure, but even when father made that clear when we were three, I *chose* to step up. Because the alternative was to lose my happiness. - Therese C. Voerman
