🧛♂️ DTIYS (Do This In Your Style)
Welcome! This is a space where I share the illustrations and designs I’ve developed over the past few years. Most of them are connected to a Vampire: The Masquerade RPG campaign I’ve been playing with friends.
This story, titled Gehenna’s Gates, has been a huge source of inspiration for me. Each piece of art will include character and story details, and you're welcome to send in questions via ask!
⚠️ CONTENT WARNING: This narrative features dark themes such as violence, abuse, and moral ambiguity. Some posts may reference torture, trauma, or disturbing content. These depictions are fictional and not condoned. Please proceed with caution.
What is Vampire: The Masquerade?
A gothic tabletop RPG set in a dark mirror of our world, where vampires struggle for survival, power, and meaning. Part of the World of Darkness universe, it's a setting that thrives on tragic characters, difficult choices, and personal horror.
What is Gehenna?
A mythic, apocalyptic event foretold among Kindred: the end of all vampires.
Where are we? London, post-2013.
What’s happening? A group of outcast Kindred overthrow the local Prince and attempt to create a new, independent city.
Why? The old world was corrupt. But change comes at a cost.
What’s at stake? The end of everything. Or maybe the beginning of something new.
If you're new to this story:
The art and writing here follows a long-running TTRPG campaign
Characters are morally grey and complex procede with caution
Askbox is open for lore questions, theories, and interactions!
Thank you for being here, I hope this space offers you a glimpse into a world I deeply care about.
🦇 MEET THE MAIN CHARACTERS
🃏 DANYA VETRANOVA – Ravnos
A charming Ravnos with a difficult past. Her sire took her to the circus for her extraordinary divination skills, and for many years, that place was her home. The events she experienced in London had a profound impact on her life, propelling her to become the heart and soul of her coterie. She has a natural talent for bringing people together and considers those close to her as her family. She's willing to do anything to protect them, without any hesitation.
(OC – My character) Character Sheet
A politician who worked in the shadows to put his party in charge. But after an unfortunate accident, he got back up like a Sireless vampire. Hunted down by Camarilla, he was forced to hide in the circus, where he bonded closely with Philippe, Danya, and Simone, becoming the guard who protected them. Even now, as head of government, he is ready to face anything to defend the family he has painstakingly built for himself. Arrogant, tough, stubborn, and sometimes overbearing, but a solid pillar to lean on in times of need.
👑 ELIZABETH DE LACY – Ventrue
Coming from a rich and noble family, she lost everything at 17, only to regain it with her own strength and the help of a charming Ventrue who took her as her initiate. As beautiful as she is ambitious and the last of her clan in London, she juggles the government and her various thorny relationships. Haughty and snobbish, she also hides a kind side in her own way.

🧛♂️ Allies & Important NPCs
Rudolf the Vile (Caitiff/Lasombra): A deeply broken ex-soldier and vampire of mysterious origin. A killer seeking meaning.
Aaron Frost (Toreador): Cursed elder and once-sire of Rudolf. Believed dead. now returned.
Arthur (Human?): Former vampire hunter turned pacifist. A fatherly light in the group’s darkest hours.
Philippe Chevalier (Toreador): Former circus director, fashion genius, and Luc’s lover. Together, they raise Simone.
Simone Levesque (Ex-Malkavian / Human / Lupine): Once a vampire child, then miraculously made human. Now cursed again.
Meinwald W. Becker (Brujah): Ex-Sheriff of London, a beacon of hope whose death shook the Coterie.
Jonah / Sargon the Omniscient (Malkavian): The whale-loving, child-like being with terrifying power and an uncertain nature.
🦹♂️ Antagonists, Dark Figures & Questionable Allies
Anselm Godwyn (True Brujah): Former Prince of London, time-manipulating Archon, and Danya’s tragic ex-lover.
Ranya the Witch (Ravnos): Deceived Danya to serve a demon. Now a chaotic ally with unpredictable humor.
Samuel Sharabi (Ravnos antitribu): Sardonic Sabbat Archbishop who lost his relics (and limbs) to Ranya.
Devon Eskarra (Lasombra): Ex-serial killer, Elizabeth’s cursed consort, haunted by his past and his sister.
Jan Pieterzoon (Ventrue): The ultimate political survivor. Untrustworthy, useful — and a constant thorn.
Alastor Van Helsing: A human (?) vampire hunter so stereotypical that he doesn’t realize he’s surrounded by vampires.
Rebecca Eskarra/Rogier (Lasombra/Angelis Ater): the most powerful being in the world, as terrible as she is. On the red list for several good reasons.
RELATIONSHIPS & CONNECTIONS
#gehenna'sgateships All the Shipping/Relationships posts!
Danya Vetranov / Rudolf the Vile
Rudolf is a wounded, violent man whose growing relationship with Danya teaches him tenderness. She’s one of the few he would choose to protect over himself. Their bond is intimate, raw, and full of pain and reluctant hope.
Danya Vetranov / Anselm Godwyn
A destined love, broken down by a demon's scheme and Anselm's pride and stubbornness, ended in his death by Danya's hand. or was it? A True Brujah like him found a way to come back from death just for her. (and his wounded pride)
Danya Vetranov / Anselm Godwyn / Rudolf the Vile
Danya is emotionally and spiritually entangled with both Rudolf and Anselm. One is a damaged man trying to be better; the other is a ghost trying to repent. They despise each other, and Danya is desperate to make them get along.
Danya Vetranov & Jonah (Sargon)
In the beginning, it was impossible to see Jonah's true nature behind his childlike, wonder-filled attitude. But when it became clear that he was one of the most powerful and darkest beings in the world, and everybody saw a monster in disguise... Danya saw a child who desperately needed a mother, and she vowed to become just that. But in the end, it wasn't enough to save him.
Danya Vetranov / Jan Pieterzoon
The Ventrue Justicar never expected to have his ass saved by a Ravnos neonate, and one looking so completely clueless. Well, he can be wrong. Once. Danya saw him at his lowest, and more than one moment of weakness, and from there they formed an unlikely friendship... but it would have been a lie to say that there wasn't some tension as well.
Elizabeth De Lacy / Devon Eskarra
Devon and Elizabeth’s relationship began in fear and sadistic amusement, evolving from a tense cat-and-mouse game into a wary alliance. Initially using each other for their own ends, their forced proximity bred trust — sealed when Devon saved Elizabeth’s life after her clan’s destruction, a gesture she would later return. What emerged was a delicate balance of power, each trying to outplay the other while ignoring the attachment that inevitably grew between them.
Elizabeth De Lacy / Alastor Van Helsing
Elizabeth and Van Helsing’s bond began as a chaotic clash. Their cohabitation sparked constant bickering, sharp teasing, and undeniable attraction. Opposites bound by shared goals, reluctant respect, and a growing, complicated affection. Despite clashing worlds and his hidden past, they became one of the coterie’s strangest yet most compelling couples.
Elizabeth / Devon / Van Helsing
Devon’s obsessive devotion to Elizabeth clashes with Van Helsing’s brash intrusion into her life, while she skillfully plays both, drawing protection, passion, and power from each. Forced into uneasy cooperation against greater threats, the three share a charged mix of attraction and antagonism, their alliances shifting as often as their affections.
Luc Gossens / Philippe Chevalier
Philippe, a disgraced Toreador turned circus stylist, saved Luc from the Camarilla’s grasp, and the silent Brujah became his protector. Their love solidified after Philippe’s brutal kidnapping, when Luc’s care broke through his own guarded nature. Haunted by the demon Ekron, Luc battled his darker urges with Philippe and Simone as his anchor. Together, they built a family that defied vampire nature, bound by loyalty, tenderness, and survival.
Jan Pieterzoon / Samuel Sharabi
Jan and Samuel’s partnership is an unlikely but formidable alliance between an occult-obsessed Ventrue and a chaotic Sabbat Ravnos. Jan orchestrates Samuel’s rise to Archbishop, securing himself a spy and ally within the enemy sect, while Samuel pursues the revival of his clan.
