Chester Bennington 💔 I'm not one to get caught up in celebrity news and gossip, but last year when I heard the news that Chester had committed suicide, My heart sank. I was devastated. While I knew his pain... it was still such a shock. Linkin Park has been a pivotal part of my life since the beginning. Their music helped me through some of the darkest times of my life, it still does. I've never resonated with an artist / band more than I have with them. Listening to their music, like REALLY listening to the lyrics it's obvious the pain and suffering he was experiencing. I hope that his death, along with thousands of others, will help people see that mental health is no fucking joke. It's no joke and it's bigger than you are. You do not need to suffer alone or in silence. I know the hardest part is reaching out, being vulnerable, letting people see the darkness... I know this because I've been there. I still visit there often. Trust me when I say, it's easier when you allow the light to come in ❤ • • • #moderndating101 #LinkinPark #MakeChesterProud #ChesterBennington #mentalhealth #Mentalhealthawareness #endthestigma #VulnerabilityIsSexy #stopsuffering #stopsufferinginsilence #LoveisLoveisLove #bloggerslife #blogsociety #writersofinstagram #writersWithPurpose #HereForYou #depressionkills #MentalIllness #hope #mentalhealthrecovery #mentalhealthblogger #MusicThatHeals #MusicMatters #ArtistsWithPurpose (at Fort Erie, Ontario)
