Base Exclusive: JAU LABEL x VVVINTAGE "SCHIZOLOG" DEBUT

We are very pleased to be the first to reveal the debut fashion film from rising star London designer Jessica Au, showcasing her new SS13 capsule collection for VVVintage. The collection is part of VVVintage's Design for Oxfam (DWO) programme where new designers are commissioned to create unique collections from the Oxfam vault of used materials. Beautiful clothes which are also helping the environment, we're sold!

The film, directed by Rob Heppell, and collection were based around the word "POW!" so it's no surprise that the visuals are a colourful explosion. Inspired by comic-books and NES games, the film tells the story of a girl who, after finding a mysterious box, is thrown into a series of computer game and comic book worlds, each fitting with a different outfit. Neon, fur, and a whole lot of pixelated fun, this short film is a feast for the eyes and really compliments the comic-style clothing.
