Another race in the books. I am proud of my time considering the muddy terrain and the fact that I raced without my big, bulky brace. I did have a brace on, but one that was made of neoprene and less restrictive, but with built-in support on either side of my knee. I met some awesome people in the course - 2 gentlemen that helped me on some of the walls on the 1st 4 miles when I lost them on the sucky mile 4 muddy mountain climb. I met up with a group of ladies that were running as a team and they made me laugh right as I was questioning my life decisions, and for the last half there were another 2 guys that kept catching up to me to only fall behind. Towards the end after the horrible dunk wall, I met up with a group of my amazing Street Team and we continued through the last few obstacles. I thought, great 60 burpees while looking at the fire 🔥, but the last 2 guys were there and helped me complete the last obstacle saving me from having to do any burpees before jumping the fire together!!! All in all, it was a good race and as I was pondering my time, I began looking at all of my races and realized that this was my best Beast time thus far...even better, this comeback year, I have had the best times ever - Sprint, Super, and this Beast! That's some I'm very proud of having accomplished!
