Pregnancy Update
How far along? 35+1
Total weight gain/loss:down 9kg since pre-preg weight. I can still use my stretchy non-maternity pants
Maternity clothes? Bought some nursing tops from ASOS. I feel sort of dumb that I didn't think of getting something that doubled as nursing wear when I bought maternity wear earlier this year 🤷🏼♀️
Skin changes? stretch marks are pretty serious.
Sleep: 😩 My hips hurt and the heartburn is making it impossible to lie flat but I get a headache when I'm using too many pillows
Best moment this week: Getting a sling crib really cheap! It's a high end brand and it's used - though it bears no signs of this - so I'm really excited about that. Also we tried pumping up the birthing pool and it's perfect ❤️
Lowest moment this week: Being annoyed every time I visit the September group on Facebook. Why are expecting mothers so annoying? Also, going for my SIL birthday party with 3 people (including her) smoking inside a very small apartment 🙄 thanks for that.....
Movement: All the time! She's head down and her back is to my right. She's in position
Food cravings: Still going hard on the watermelon. But recently also pancakes
Food aversions: Garlic
Morning sickness/Nausea: Not really. Only if I eat too much, which I almost instantly do as soon as I eat. There's room for nothing anymore
Something I physically couldn’t do: Close a window that was wide open. My stomach was in the way🤰🏼
Leakage: Yes!! I have that fat yellow milk coming in as soon as I take the bra of and let the girls loose. I also leak a lot during the night.
Something I bought: a car seat (or was that last week??) a Trip Trap chair from Stokke to go with the infant seat, a sling crib from Natures Sway, more clothes, a nursing pillow (because you need more than one)
Any labor signs or new weird pains?: I had contractions every 5 minutes for a few hours, it was nothing though. I was checked by a doctor. My what-do-you-call it was 2,8cm and I wasn't dilated. I though I had caught a UTI, but not even that. It was just my uterus practicing
Any swelling? Still nothing! How amazing is that? This pregnancy have been a breeze
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy! Next Friday we'll celebrate my boyfriends surprise baby shower 😂 I have invited all of his friends and we'll have he festivities at my dog training clubhouse. I'm really looking forward to that. Feminism is throwing your man a babyshower
