GORO AKECHI from PERSONA 5
JUSTIFICATION:
"Listen to me. There is a problem in fandom of people feminizing him in a way that insults his character as an excuse to ship him with the protagonist. That is not why I am here. I think Akechi suffers from multiple problems related to his identity in relation to his parents and the position it puts him in the world. He’s very stifled by the things he feels forced into because of his past. Despite an extreme effort to maintain a desirable public image, he feels inferior to and jealous of those around him. He has a conversation with his mentor about gender performance in a manga series connected to the game, and the conversation felt weird to me at least in the translation side because it felt like despite Akechi saying he had it easier there seemed to be some envy there. I think if Akechi had stopped trying to kill his dad thereby becoming the man in the process, she had instead done more to actually honor her mother thereby becoming a woman in the process, it literally would have saved her life" - @wa-u
