Almost losing Scott to a storm one day after you both had an argument that morning but he just manages to avoid it. All that pent up anger from breakfast coming out in tears as you yell at him. Only to drag him down to your level by his neck to hug him tightly.

All these Scott thoughts and asks has my brain thinking thoughts!

its infuriating because he's doesn't make a big deal about almost dying, he shrugs it off like it's nothing, rolls his eyes, like you worrying about him is unnecessary and childish because this is just something that comes with the job

and like- you were already upset from that argument you had in the morning, the one that nearly ended whatever it is you two have going on because neither of you could admit to your feelings for each other

but now, its ten times worse

now you can't even hide, because just the thought of having nearly lost Scott is bringing tears to your eyes, you're yelling, pushing at his chest, theres a knot getting stuck in your throat when you cry out "Im just glad you're okay, is that so fucking bad?"

he scoffs, Scott avoids your gaze and you know its because if he meets your eyes he'll have to face the way they are pouring, welling up with so many feelings for him

but its then that you pull the vanquishing move, grabbing with your hands at the nape of his neck to bring him down for a tight embrace

it works its magic in a matter of seconds, as if the hug were speaking for the both of you, Scott lifts his arms and wraps them completely around your waist and back, squeezing the air out of you, burying his face into the hollow of your neck

"im here, im here baby, im here-" he repeats, deep voice laced with relinquishing and surprising tenderness, the sound muffled and hot against your skin while you're still sniffling

its exactly what you needed to hear
