‘I know I'm the only one who thinks this, but despite Witness being the worst book I've ever read, I actually like the MC as a character. Do I like her? No. But I like how she isn't the stereotypical friendly/mom friend/solving everyone's problems/newcomer that I'm sick of seeing.’

Why does pb stick it’s most educated mcs in the horniest books

Bachelorette Party mc was a lawyer

The Nanny Affair mc is a chem major

Witness mc- we don’t know exactly what she does if I remember right but she seems to be in a high up corporate job

Edit: For the record this doesn’t mean the two are mutually exclusive- of course a character can be both. But it would be nice if the very few STEM mcs actually had the chance to show off their skills once in a while like the many writer mcs have in between all the fucking
