While I loved the Knuckles series, I did wish that they'd put more emphasis on the Wachowskis being the "home" for Knuckles that they kept talking about. So I slightly edited the scene of Wade talking to unconscious Knuckles to reflect that better!

Random Sonic movie headcanon: Knuckles, despite not having visible ears, usually moves his attention towards Sonic and Tails' ears in fascination of how they move and work. But whenever he asks Sonic about them, he tends to get a bit defensive and thinks Knux he is calling his ears inadequate compared to Tails.

This eventually ends with some bickering between the two.

Knuckles: "Hedgehog, why is it that you have such tiny ears?"

Sonic: "Well, at least I HAVE ears!"

Knuckles: "I do have ears!"

Sonic: "Really? Cause I don't see them attached to that big old head of yours!"

Knuckles, growling and getting in Sonic’s face: "My head is the same size as yours!"

Sonic, also gets in Knuckles' face: "Must be a sad thing to think about, all that space for such a pea sized brain you have up there!"

Knuckles: "Oh really?!?"

Sonic: "Yeah!"

Tails, in the background, getting his phone out: "Hey mom? Yeah, they're fighting again about their brains or something. Can you come pick us up?"

I don't get why people keep thinking Knuckles is a mamas boy and Sonic isn't. Sonic was raised by a single mother for most of his life. Kunckles may had both parents, but remember it was his father who prevented him to hunt Longclaw. So, I think Knuckles would be a daddys boy and Sonic would be the mama's boy.

Since it's Knuckles Wachowski's week, I rewatched both movies, the first a couple nights ago and the second tonight.

And may I just say

No fictional characters have ever awakened my maternal instincts as strongly as the Wachowski children have.

I MEAN?!?!

I AM VERY WELL AWARE OF WHAT THEY'RE ALL CAPABLE OF, BUT???

I look at them and I think "SMOL. SMOL SOFT CHILDREN. SMOL SOFT BEBIES WHO HAVE HURT AND I MUST HELP AND PROTECC AND LOVE AND NURTURE THEM."

Sonic and Tails: *casually lounging together on the couch*

Knuckles (oldest sibling): *shows up*

Sonic and Tails (little rascals, little siblings): *immediately shift positions to take up the entire couch* ("sorry bro this seat's taken")

Tails: *innocently sits criss cross applesauce, looks away, and whistles, even moves one tail to take up more space*

Knuckles: *knocks them both off the couch and claims the entire thing for himself*

*both Sonic and Tails faceplant the ground, then glare back at Knuckles*

*Knuckles looks so proud of himself*
