This was a GIF I decided to do for Lafaiette on Tumblr for her Chapter 11 in the Well fanfic. I did an image in the same chapter of Peter helping Wade into the bathroom found here: Get Well Soon Wade. This was a moment I found really moving in her work and I really had fun creating the distressed, disturbed, and worried expressions of Wade and Peter. It almost acts as a moving comic with each frame acting as a panel in a comic strip. This took me quite a while to finish because I was having issues with the shading, compression of the GIF file, and I even redrew the city background by hand. I had no references for the background other than trying to figure out how New York rooftops look like. (I drew this before Lafaiette's 12th chapter that talks about how his apartment is in Queens. I am not sure if some apartments are near those types of buildings that seem tall and pointy or have long, rectangular windows so it may seem much fancier than Peter could possibly afford but I really wanted a long window to help show the location of where they are.) I had fun doing this despite the complications and aggravations. I wish I could create better quality GIFs but even so, I like how this came out. <3 Enjoy!

“Shh, Wade, no! It’s me, Peter!” the young man repeats and through his tears he can see the fury come back in Wade’s eyes. His fingers claws at his spandex, his face is contorted into a growl.
“Don’t fucking touch Peter!” he howls, mistaking the hero for a scientist a second time. “Don’t you fucking dare!”
“No! No!” Peter wants his voice to be clearer, to reach Wade among his attack and finally wake him from this living nightmare, but he is crying so hard he can barely speak. “W-Wade, I am Peter! Look at me, don’t you recognize me?”
