I always thought that Starlight by Muse was a good song from Klav's POV about Apollo leaving for Khurain (could be pining Klav pre-relationship or Klav struggling with their long distance relationship). Love the imagery of Apollo as Klav's "starlight" and "electrify[ing] [his] life" (Polly is the light of his life! He's pulling the darkness out of Klav!) Also totally depressed Klav singing about him losing hope of Apollo coming back home (and therefore any happiness in his life), because he believes that Apollo will stay in Khurain, "I will be chasing this starlight until the end of my life - I don't know if it's worth it anymore" when all Klav wants to do is "hold Apollo in his arms" (either pre-relationship 'holy shit I never confessed and now I've missed my chance' or long distance pining)

Or Starlight could be seen as Klavier singing about his life as a famous musician, with his "ship" (fame) distancing him from his roots, him only wanting to "hold [fame] in his arms" (only wanted a little fame, not to completely blow up in popularity), music "electrifying his life" and never wanting to let it go and fade into obscurity ("I'll never let you go, if you promise not to fade away").

having years of development and hcs and stuff surrounding Archer and his relationships / dynamics in Rocket is hard bc like... some of that development and those hcs came from other blogs that are no longer around but they’ve become integral and linked to my portrayal and I don’t think I could write Archer without them (most of them anyway, some aren’t too important) but I feel super anxious and guilty about having predetermined / already developed hcs and feeling like I’m forcing my writing partner(s) of affected muses into accepting them :((
