Me thinking about how I have 16 WIPS/ideas sitting in various documents/posted works/Tumblr and on top of that, my superfamily series needed prequels that already amount to 62k words, while the superfamily stories account for 120k THUS making the combined total that’s been posted and of what I took down 183k words.
there was going to be a gif here but idk what to even put//

Why you should check out my “We are literally a family of superheroes, a superfamily.” series.
To avoid an evil glare from Natasha, Steve had sat far away from Tony on the couch, and he now stood up to sit by him.
“You sure about this?”
“No.”
“Please be careful.”
“I don’t have to do much, just time how long we’re in that building and get out before I’m buried.”
“And what if I really lose you this time?”
Tony looked up at Steve. “I don’t know.”
Steve just leaned in for a passionate kiss, and Tony melted into it, trying to remember every detail, much as he suspected Steve was too. For a brief moment, it was just Steve’s warmth, the ache in his chest gone as they held each other tightly, impossibly close.
“I love you.” Tony broke the kiss, resting his forehead against Steve’s.
“I love you too.” Steve leaned in again, the kiss more desperate.
Tony wished he could stay like this forever, the warmth radiating from Steve making his heart lighter, strong hands and arms protecting him from everything. He knew this passion had been born out of the crisis of the last month, and he did not want to leave this embrace to a Steve who could change his mind. Someone who had not almost lost Tony, who hadn’t seen him blind, who came back barely in one piece. Would their confessions of love be as easy as breathing, their bodies fitting together perfectly? How different would his eyes be? How he held himself?
Tony was going to potentially a stranger, to a time where they hung in the balance.
“You should go.” Steve had pulled back this time, his hands cupping Tony’s face, wiping away the tears.
“I love you.”
“I love you, and I think any variation of myself will love you.”
Tony shook his head, a hot mess of tears in his throat.
“Sometimes, I feel we’re inevitable. Tony, I love you. I will always find my way to you.”
He nodded, leaning in for another kiss before forcing himself up, walking to the lift without looking back, because he knew if he did, he would never leave.
The box was discrete cardboard and came easily under the kitchen knife as he clumsily and slowly wielded it.
Steve’s shield dropped out of the box, star down, the vibranium echoing melodically as it rattled to a stop.

Peggy had once given him a cheap metal alloy copy of Caps shield, citing something along the fact that he, too, could be a hero. Tony had just run at her, where she was kneeling down, wrapping his short arms around her. And she had comforted him while making the soft clicking noise upon the realization that indicated she knew what Howard had done without Tony needing to speak.
The shield went into the back of his closet, lest his dad see it.
Days later, he was locked in his closet. He had opened a secret compartment he had made, taking out a jar of preserved, sliced plums, digging in as his stomach rumbled. With sticky fingers, he put up the barrier to prevent the tiny light from shining under the door, looking around as he turned it on.
The star on the shield shone back at him, and he reached for it, setting it down star-first before crawling into the bowl, curling up.

Tony didn't fit in the shield anymore.
Guess who just posted a fanfiction chapter for the first time in over a year?????
I don’t know what’s fueling the words but I am writing again (hopefully)
I can’t believe my WIP has the audacity to not write itself!!!!
