A tumblr blog for the visual novel, Walking Your Path.

I've been spending the majority of my free time working on this: a visual novel that I will be releasing. There will be a new character released every three days until they have all been released, as well as I'll be posting updates on how the project is coming. The game will include:

Ten arcs of game play to progress through

Four individual endings as well as ten undesirable endings depending on what you choose

Interaction between several lovable, diverse characters

Fully voice acted

Original artwork and soundtrack

Epilogue included

Three free demos leading up to the fourth arc

What do you all do for a living? I want to do something that will earn me enough money to survive and be able to save at least a little bit each week. I also want to be able to travel wherever I want, whenever I want. Anyone know of any professions where this is possible? Seriously any job that lets me travel and be free is on the table.

@aworthlessgoat, Follow your dreams. They will lead you. Money is an outdated system… To chase it is to chase the social tail because we are afraid to go somewhere new. When you walk your path everything in life will fall into place. (~Your path looks like ‘oh, that interests me’ and ‘I wish I could do that’ and ‘Wouldn’t it be cool if’ or ‘ha!’)

The map of the path might look like this: Make a list, mental, or on paper, of your skills. Then think of their applications and expand upon them. Something like a club/meetup/forum will connect you with similarly minded people who can describe their experience to you and might direct you to new ideas. Do lots of research, of absolutely everything that you are interested in.

To grasp at fruit on the path might be like this: What kinds of hands on skills do you already have a level of confidence with? (You don’t have to be a pro, you just have to be confident enough to use that skill to support your body for a moment.) For example: paining walls, carpentry, lawnscaping, teaching an instrument, massage or energy work These kinds of jobs will be best for places that you want to stay in for a moment. But they’re just fruit along the way ~unless you decide to plant these fruit trees everywhere, and then that is your path, Johnny Appleseed.

When the road has taken you to a space unfamiliar: Look into local postings: craig’s list, ads the local news paper (this seems outdated, but some people prefer to post in print to avoid ‘creeps’.) Try your puzzle pieces out by posting your skills where you can around town. And look closely at the map again: talk to people, go to events, see what’s out there.

Support from outer spaces: Maybe you have a craft that you do? something like drawing, making sculptures out of that clay that hardens in the oven, or maybe you have an idea for clothing printing. These kinds of things can be sold online, at local shops, or traded with people. What makes the sale or cuts the flow off is confidence level, it is like a lens that can clarify or blur reality. ~ There’s also the possibility of finding a job online, some sort of tech support work, blogging… teaching… It all depends on what you already are.

Desire what you want, map it, and see where that takes you: Make a list of your skills and ideas, ask for help from the people surrounding you. As you begin trying your various skills out, you will discover what you do and don’t like doing… what you can literally and happily do all day, and what you sort of are trying to do just because you ‘have to’ – that’s like eating from one kind of bush until you feel so sick of the fruit that you walk off of the path and puke behind a tree.

I think the most important thing is to keep trying, not just at what ever you can but at what you feel passionately about. No one has cut your ‘life-suit’ out for you… and you don’t always have to wear hand-me down jobs… just for a quick fix while you focus on something that is important to you, or when you genuinely like them. You kind of have to find, trade, and build your ‘life-suit’ from what’s around you. The more multiskilled you are, the faster this will happen, but doing something abhorant, thus cutting off your life energy… will just lead you further into the bush – keep checking the map, keep talking to people, keep asking yourself ‘what do I really want to be doing?’

The more you follow your passion, the closer you get to your “vocation”. Vocation – vocal, your song, the sound of your resonance, your specific frequency in society. Find yourself, find what your ray looks like. (And tune yourself up, connect with similar people, practice, practice, practice, and then try new approaches.)

Realize that everything around you is there because you accept it or from a time when you called for it. If you want something different, sometimes, try being a ‘yes’ person… do everything that’s offered, look under every leaf, and you might find that there was something wonderful within the coffee date or strange job. The universe is abundant in ways that we can not imagine until they are in front of us.

The way to take in the abundance of our surroundings: a) Lower your judgement shield! Expect more, but judge less :) It’s an instant doubling technique; A call and an acceptance. b) Be open to new possibilities; maybe you haven’t tried this food yet… but it has the nutriment you didn’t know you crave! c) Step fearlessly! Tune into your life-yoga. Feel and recognize what’s around you, feel and recognize yourself in it, move into new postures and forms. Keep trying, keep stepping out and forward.

Many ways of living are accessible without cash. Basically, we exchange energy and sometimes that energy is bundled into a paper form, but it doesn’t have to be. Figure out what kind of energy you already express – how do your energy bundles look? (Mine look like blogs, crochet hats, smiles, and conversation.) Then find ways to expand and clarify what you already are…. :) Find your society, find your tribe, find your tribe within the tribe, find your siblings. They are already working on these things. The further you follow your path the closer you will be to your goal.

~ I hope that was inspiring ~ (!) I’m working on the same thing right now… and I find it useful to gather my thoughts and write them. {Plus I can rephrase old info and paint with analogies that work for me.}
