Wallter & his affectionate s/o reader.
He's all about having you wrapped around his arm. He and Mark weren't that physically affectionate in public, so to have someone openly hugging him can leave him flustered. He tries not to let it show, appearing calm and yet the flush of his cheeks gives him away.
He'll laugh, and lean down to hug you back. He's absolutely a fan of you keeping a hand on him at all times, holding his arm or his hands, reaching one hand out to grasp his waist so he doesn't fall. Do it during a high tension, surprising moment and you might even get a fumbled sentence or quiet gasp.
Long hugs, short hugs, side hugs, back hugs, front hugs, he'll accept them all with outstretched arms. He's hardly one to initiate them, but it's obvious how much he enjoys it every time you do. His personal favorite is when you get a running start and almost jump at him, taking the opportunity to lift you by your waist and spin you around.
He loves the soothing contrast of your skin against his own, how it's so much softer and warm. He's quieter around you, whether it be his tone or demeanor. He'll keep you close to him whenever there's a shady individual in the elevator (be it Folly, or MR). It'll be a step closer, almost in front of you, an instinctual attempt at soothing any anxiety you might have.
And when you rest a hand on his arm and lean closer in retaliation, he'll look down at you with a look in his eyes you recognize is solely reserved for you. He's extraordinarily comfortable with you, compliant and willing to do almost anything you'd ask of him.
When he's at his desk working on some building plans, and you sneak up on him to wrap your arms around his shoulders and steal a kiss? He'll close his eyes and try to cement the moment into his memories.
He thinks through every action he takes concerning you, realizing through his past experiences that time can lead to anything. He cherishes you, always will. And your adoration towards him will be reciprocated in every way he's capable of.
