Walnut shell gnome home
These are meant to be the same people as in my previous gnome home diorama, scaled down. I cut open some walnuts (first tried to prise open with a knife but found it hard to get two clean halves so switched to junior hacksaw), then basically everything is sculpted from coloured polymer clay and glued in place, with a little balsa wood shelf and fairy lights of a bit of thread with acrylic paint, and paper books.
Haven’t done this level of detail on clay things this small before, I think they came out pretty cute. I didn’t manage to get a proper hinge for the nutshell, so that’s a problem for the next project.
"Walnut" Speaker by Penguin DIY
The speaker itself a miniature little device the size of a… well, walnut. Made from the walnut’s shell, it packs all the necessary components inside, including a mini battery, amp, driver, Bluetooth module, USB-C port, and even buttons and LEDs to control playback or increase/decrease the volume.

Further proof that flying pigs are nut possible.
With a large walnut obscuring his vocabulary, I had a hard time deciphering Oliver's lunch order.
My smallest display yet! I found this partial mouse skull in my windowell. Painted a walnut shell, a dried hibiscus flower and boom. It's so cute.
