The Diner was created in a week, and all sprites and programming were completed by the creator, Vinaera. The game contains 5 endings; three bad, one good and one true ending. A walkthrough is available for those that struggle.

Haitaka no Psychedelica - General Playthrough

Original title: 灰鷹のサイケデリカ ~Snowdrop and Via-Kaleido stories for children~ Alternative Title: Psychedelica of the AA-Nisus, Psychedelica of the ash-grey hawk North American Title: Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk Platform: PS Vita Language: Japanese, English

Summary: Jed is a cheerful young women who has been raised as a man due to her right eye which will glows red when she becomes too emotional. This was a sign of a witch - a being of misfortune - where the village strongly believes that if a witch is found, killing her would save them from the misfortune (like the snow in the village). Fearful of her life, she has lived not only as a man, but also lives in an old tower with the Lord of the Tower deep in the forest. 

General Playthrough

Icons on the Map

Main Story: this is where you progress through the main story (when all conditions are cleared).

Short Episodes: these are short episodes which you will need to unlock the Main Story icon.

Investigations: This is where you ask questions to expand the story and also collect investigation points. The points are then used to purchase short episodes at the Antique Shop.

Navigating through the Map 

Selecting an area circle will show you the types of story (green), short episodes (blue), and investigation (pink). on the left side. Only the Bar map will have a special store called the Antique Shop which is indicated in white.

The Antique Store

You can get to here by going to the Bar Map > Antique Shop. Here you can purchase items that unlocks special short episodes which can be also be found in the Interlude portion of the game. 

Note: I am not 100% sure if any of these items help unlock parts of the main story (so far it didn’t seem like it during my playthrough) but it is highly recommended to purchase them as you can understand in depth of the back stories from the game and in another character’s points of view. 

Confirmed: Certain items are used to unlock the locked Short Episodes.

Switching Genders

Since Jed is known and raised as a male, she cannot disclose her true gender. However, as the story progresses, she will be able to dress up as a girl which you can toggle on the map using the square button. This is important to take note of, as there are short episodes that are only available in her female form and others only as her male form. 

Changes from Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly

Flowchart: Just like the previous game, there is a flowchart however, (in my opinion) it is no longer relevant as most Short Episodes are now found on the map for unlocking and the playthrough is much more linear and organized.

Mini-Game: They have completely removed the mini-game portion and replaced it with the Investigation system. 

Map: The map, at certain points of the chapter, will allow you to navigate around and experience the short episodes of a certain part of the city. Locked episodes  are unlocked through story progress, requirements being met (same as it’s previous game), and by the “gender” of the protagonist.

New Layout to celebrate the release of Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly North America’s release in a few hours~! So exciting! I hope everyone enjoys my favorite otome game of all time. Plus I always wanted to do a Kagiha layout since day one, but it was hard to use non-spoiler images and text.
