WandaVision 1x06 Spoilers

Okay I have a theory regarding this scene from the new episode

Wanda and Pietro are shown to have Red and White or blonde hair like they do currently however because of Age of Ultron we know that they’re hair was dark brown before receiving their powers

This flashback was from “Pietro’s” memory which afterwards Wanda conments how that’s not how she remembered that memory I think a lot of people are assuming that “Pietro” is lying and are using this as evidence of him being Mephisto or something stupid like that.

However I disagree I don’t think he was lying at all and I believe this is his memory of the event as it happened for him.

Because of the Rogue Cut of X-Men Days of Future Past we know that Peter Maximoff has two sisters one which we actually see is significantly younger than Peter

But another sister is mentioned by their mother

Now we can’t say for sure but this scene always gave me the vibe that the other sister was older this could very well be the Fox Universe’s Wanda and I would put good money on that being the case and from X2 we know that there are two registered Maximoff mutants in this universe from Stryker’s files

Now that other Maximoff could be the little sister we see in DoFP but when X2 was being made this was obviously thrown in as an Easter egg to Pietro and Wanda so that’s how I think it should be taken.

Anyways we know MCU Wanda and Pietro’s natural hair color is dark brown, however we have no indication that, that would also be the case for Fox Wanda and Peter. So I believe that flashback we saw was actually a flashback to Peter’s childhood in the Fox universe a shared memory both him and MCU Wanda have but different.

Now it’s pretty much stated that flashback is Sokovia, which I think a lot of people would take as evidence of this being false however the X-Men movies have always been pretty vague about Peter’s backstory all we really know is that his mom hooked up with Magneto at some point and when we meet Peter he lives in America.

However with how little we know about him it’s not impossible for the MCU to retcon that a version of Sokovia also exists in the Fox Universe and I believe that Peter, Wanda and their mother immigrated at some point during their childhood presumably before their little sister was born and with how long they had been living there their Sokovian accents faded much like Wanda’s has in the MCU in what is a considerably shorter span of time.

I believe that Fox’s Peter Maximoff actually could have been born as Pietro Maximoff and upon immigrating chose to adopt a more American sounding name which isn’t unheard of or really all that uncommon. So Peter technically being Pietro Maximoff is why he got pulled from his universe and dropped into WestView

Omg I have a solid theory for why this episode had end credits and the others didn't. (Or I might be stretching immensely either way it's fun)

So all the other episodes were set in the past going from 50s-early 2000's (if we rely on malcom in the middle being the primary parody for the Halloween episode, the show ran from 2000-2006)

The first mcu film didn't come out until 2008 with Iron Man and end credit scenes weren't really a major thing before the MCU popularized it.

This episode was set in the 2010's after the MCU was established therefore end credits scenes are now a thing

I haven't seen anyone taking about this yet so here I go!

To me it's really clear that Mephisto is behind this. So far in the MCU, Wanda has never shown the level of power necessary to pull this off. She could do some shit to kick Thanos' ass but create a bubble reality sitcom styled, intro and all? She must have gotten some help or some sort of amplifier that enhanced her powers to this level.

I think Mephisto is acting through Agnes (Agatha Harkness) as this "teacher". They helped her create and maintain this reality. A piece of evidence is that when Wanda doesn't know what August 23rd is Agnes is the one giving her options on how to explain it and then plan the dinner as an anniversary, and having an anniversary would make the fantasy more real. She is always ready to help in a way that is not natural.

So, the only people capable of altering this reality in any way are Wanda herself and Agnes/Mephisto. All the others, including Vision, are either made up or trapped in this sitcom characters. That's why when Mr. Hart choked his wife entered broken record mode asking Wanda to make it stop. Vision looks scared in this scene because if the illusion is broken, he doesn't exist.

But they can't "break the script" without permission from one of the directors, so no one does anything until Wanda tells Vision to help the choking man. And we know this wasn't part of the scene because in this moment Wanda is not acting, but directing. In this reality she is the director, actor and the audience. Like in a magic show, she knows it isn't real but pretends to believe it in order to be entertained.

This happens other times, and this "interferences" in the show are always resolved by Wanda using her powers to explain it in-universe, by Agnes, or by simply pretending it never happened:

it's not until she states out loud that she is going to investigate the sound that the tree branch appears. She uses her powers in this scene not to open the curtains, but to create this explanation to the strange sound. The episode itself tells us that this is what happened by making Wanda do the same thing during the magic show.

When Wanda finds the toy in the bushes, Agnes shows up and quickly takes her away and distracts her from what happened. Also, the fact that the toy was colored shows that it isn't that we are watching it in black and white, but that Wanda made the world be in black and white as part of the illusion. This is only on the surface though, as proven by the red blood

The scene with Dottie is another example. When she hears Woo asking who is doing this to her, she looks scared. She doesn't know about Agnes and Mephisto, and the possibility of someone using her scares Wanda The Person, not Wanda The Character. But then the radio breaks and Dottie cuts her hand. Wanda solution is to cover up the blood: out of sight, out of mind

Wanda couldn't explain the beekeeper in a way that made sense in-universe, and Agnes wasn't there to help her out, so out loud she says "no" and rewinds the scene, a take two

So, Wanda doesn't know about Mephisto, so she doesn't know he's helping her out. But he is helping her, but not for free, and the price are the children. I don't know a lot about Scarlet Witch lore, but I imagine that the kids are an antichrist type of situation, and that Mephisto is the one that makes her pregnant, not herself. That's why people keep asking about her having kids or taking about children: he is one of the "directors" and is using this power to put the idea in her head. So when he does get her pregnant she doesn't question it. She kind of just went "guess this is my life now!" and that was it. It wasn't like the wedding rings, that she deliberately created. She was surprised by the sudden baby bump but just assumed she had done without realizing.

That's the point. She thinks she is doing this to be happily ever after with Vision, but her bubble really was hijacked by the devil to produce his "offspring". That's why at the beginning Agnes says that she wasn't in town until then. I'm a romantic, so I think that Agnes started liking Wanda and feels bad about what she's doing, so she's trying to warn her about Mephisto the way she can (like with the joke about the Devil).

Monica also got there afterwads, once SWORD started monitoring Westview. Since she didn't have an entity like Mephisto to help her out, though, she lost her memories from before and all she has is the script and a vague sense that she wasn't supposed to be here.

At some point Wanda is going to have to stop pretending, but she still won't know about Mephisto and that's why she wants to keep living that fantasy, or try to create another mind stone to bring Vision back to life in the real world (which is probably a bad idea). But then when she does realize what actually happening, it's too late, Mephisto is here, someone call Doctor Strange

The fact that she has to say this interventions out is probably part of her powers, but again, I don't know enough about Scarlet Witch to confirm it.

Anyway, these are my theories! If I got any of the lore wrong or just want to talk about it, please tell me!!

Ok hear me out (wanda vision spoilers)

At the end of the episode when Pietro shows up it’s WEIRD. like I love that he’s here but it’s...weird. They talk about “bringing back the dead” with sparky but she “can’t do that” because it’s a rule of life. I know she brought back vision but tbh he’s like a robot so I feel like he has different “rules.”

BUT I CANT GET OVER when Wanda says “Pietro?” He looks slightly confused, then shrugs. He never says “yes” or anything of the sort. He never confirms it. And with this show, wording is really important, so I feel like he would have expressed it somehow.

I don’t know what I’m trying to say with this but the meeting with Pietro is very weird and she is adamant that she didn’t make someone ring the doorbell, plus seems really shocked that he’s there. If not a bit confused, too.

Now that everyone knows it was Agatha who kidnapped Peter and not Wanda, there will be nothing to stop Father Fridge Magnet from freaking destroying the person who snatched his child

ok ok i am once again here to talk about wandavision

so uh... “pietro” right?? i still firmly believe he’s peter maximoff from the fox xmen movies, but i hear what ur saying: “but anarchy, it looks like he’s on agatha’s side and can’t be peter!”

what if i told u that he’s being controlled by her through his shell necklace??

these two are from the same episode, yes, but i’m using this to show u what the necklace looks like from all angles. wooden beads in the front, shells everywhere else right? ok so

this was him in his first appearance on the show. what do we see? wooden beads in the front. i think it’s safe to assume that the shell part is hidden by his collar.

then in the latest episode we see him wearing it again, though it’s a bit harder to see. beads in front, shells around them. we don’t see him without the necklace in all of his appearances.

now, in the comics, there’s a character named garth who used a necklace to possess and control others. this happened in uncanny xmen 189. i believe they’ve taken this concept and applied it to agatha, who has used the necklace to control peter after taking him from his main universe.
