Finally it's Spring Again but I still don't have an Absolute Boyfriend~
Lalalala~ I made up the title based on the upcoming project that Hong Jong Hyun is taking. Yasss! Finally after almost a year since his drama filming (The King in Love), he is finally employed in a new movie and a drama. I'm so excited receiving this news. Knowing that he comes back to the screen made me happy. He said on the last year's interview that he wanted to be busy in this year, he wanted to work harder before enlisting. It took him a quite long time to take some new projects. I'm just grateful to his agency, CJes, for promoting him well. He gets a quite bunch of jobs after he joined the agency compare to than when he was still a free agent. I don't know why it took him so long to be back to the screen. He was rumoured to be offered "pretty noona who buys me food" drama last year, but there was no news about if he was really offered and or he rejected the project. My another bias, Jung Hae In, finally took the occupation as the male lead in the drama.
He has hinted something about his upcoming projects in early May. He posted this selfie on weibo, him with a script.

I was sure it was a movie/drama script and ddang here is the good news!! He also posted a little lady pic on his instagram stories. A few days later, it was revealed by the mother of the kid that this lil lady is one of the casts in the movie project, she posted the pic of the kid sitting in between the movie casts which there was Hong Jong Hyun among them. The pic was deleted as the poster realized that the project couldn't be published yet. If you look up to #다시봄 hastag on instagram, there are some posts that were posted either by the crew or the casts about the preparation of the movie filming.

On 5 June 2018, Media finally announced this movie. It is said that Hong Jong Hyun and Lee Chung Ah are the lead actors. Both are from the same agency. The movie is adapted from a webtoon story. They have started filming the movie 다시봄 (english title: Spring, Again) since May and is scheduled to finish filming in July. Hong Jong himself shared his pics at filming location which was in Yeosu on instagram. Other casts also shared their pics from the same location on their social media. They spent around a week in Yeosu. The latest fan taken pic, Hong Jong was seen filming at a hospital.

As he is still filming the movie, another project is waiting for him. DRAMA!! This drama is also adapted from a series called Absolute Boyfriend. The drama project was actually announced officially by media earlier than the movie project news. This will be his reunion project with his past co-workers (and sister in law :p) Minah, as both have worked together in a sitcom called Vampire Idol back in 2011. So both are familiar with each other. He will play as the second lead along with Yeo Jin Goo as the male lead. His role is a top star who falls in love with the female lead (Minah). Another triangle love story (again). Lol. The filming is scheduled to begin in July. The broadcast channel hasn't been confirmed yet.

His character name is Ma Wang Jun. Ever since 2016 he has this character called Wang: Wang Yo, Wang Rin, and Wang Jun. Eventhough, the previous two Wang means Prince and the next one is his modern name, but still it's WANG. lol. I have read some spoiler about this drama. I just laughed. Hahaha. I'm just gonna enjoy the movie and the drama because i miss him a lot. I really look forward to it. Anyway, good luck for your new projects Jong! Hwaiting!
