ummmm some headcanons about when the war trio first met again?
Sure!
Time/Mask was first. Warriors was still new to his position when he met the kid and he actually went through the first half of the war with just Mask (because in game, you can't actually play any levels with Wind until you've unlocked an item from fighting Ganon, which isn't possible, in world, until after Cia is down)
Mask is only unlocked after a level where you have to fight him as the end boss, so I HC that Wars met him on the battlefield. Mask got dropped into a strange world and the soldiers all assumed he was some sort of a demon who was disguised as a child because he was seen using his various masks, and so they attacked, thinking he was from the enemy side. Naturally, Mask fought back, and it took Warriors showing up and putting 2 + 2 together (after defeating him) for Mask to be considered an ally rather than a foe.
Being treated as an enemy for a sort while did prompt Mask to hold a grudge against War' soldiers for a very considerable amount of time and he still has some residual beef with them even now, although it's channeled more into pranks and scaring the wits out of them than any actual harm anymore
As I mentioned in one of my other HC posts, Warriors is, essentially, a foster Great Fairy, by total accident, and the residual magic from the fairy corps is one of the reasons Mask eventually came to trust him. The second Mask saw that the guy had a fairy, he started rethinking whether he was a friend or foe, and then when he found out there was a whole fountain of them (a gathering for fairies is called a fountain) he just up and decided Wars was a good person because when are fairies ever wrong? If they like him, he's gotta be a good person (also, it makes him think of the Deku Tree)
Half the army are convinced that Mask is some sort of changling, and he leaned into that HEAVILY. Wars didn't care as long as he behaved himself for the most part (he's not entirely unconvinced that it's not true himself; the man's a Celt and thus, while not neccessarily superstitious, he's also not stupid; he believes those things are real and to be respected)
Warriors took legal custody for Mask after the battle with Cia. prior to that, there was too much happening at once for anyone to care too much about the politics of it. Impa gave up trying to tell Mask to stay at camp and basically just told Wars the kid was his problem and to keep an eye on him, and that was that. they're not family by choice so much as Mask was assigned Warriors' Charge at arrival
Mask was very much not present when the trio (Warriors, Artemis and Lana) all met Cia for the first time and split off into different eras to track her down. He was thus left out of the time travel part of the journey and spent the whole while just having a freaking panic attack until they got back
Warriors returning with the Master Sword in hand was very jarring for Mask, but he was also just so relieved to have Wars back that he sort of forgot about it. Prior to this, he was trying to maintain the tough guy act, but he actually opened up a lot and got downright clingy once War got back from Skyloft (he realized that he could lose Wars and that even the idea of that was heartbreaking, so he decided to give into his feelings already and embrace their dynamic)
Wars and Mask bonded a lot over the fairies and Epona.
Mask avoided talking about the Master Sword with Wars, but when he saw Wars starting to get cocky, their relationship started getting rocky and they had many fights about it
Mask blames the sword for Warriors nearly dying, and getting captured by Cia, a rescue he was not allowed to be part of, much to his fury
BECAUSE Mask and Wars had the first half of the adventure to themselves, they already had a pre-existant dynamic by the time Tune rocked up, which meant it had to shift and change to accommodate him, something Wind was very aware of
Warriors was fresh out of training and with no experience parenting a twelve year old when he met Mask, so he ended up taking on a more brotherly role initially, handling mask like he would his sisters. By the time Tune showed up though, it was becoming more of a paternal position because he'd taken custody and was coming into himself as a leader and somebody to be looked to, not just relied on.
As I've mentioned in fics, Mask was very jealous about having to share Warriors with Tune, and made many attempts to make it clear just how unwelcome the sailor was. None of them really worked, but it just made him even more angry when Tune didn't even get upset by it
Tune actually though Mask was just a bratty little imp for the first bit, and as a big brother, he is very used to childish chaos, and sort of took a lot of it in stride
the boys ended up coming to a tentative truce, not because they grew fond of each other, but because Warriors was under so much stress all the time and they both wanted to help him
Tune is the cook of the trio, Warriors is the medic, and Mask had the scary dog privileges. Maybe not a traditional family, but they made it work
Being as he's very possessive, where Mask was previously just a bit clingy with Wars, the second Tune showed up he was basically glued to the man's side. Refuses to sleep in his own bedroll and always had to be walking closest, so on and so forth. Typical jealous child stuff, just turned up a bit because this one was raised by the fae
Wind has several scars that are just from Time having bitten him as a child.
Warriors came to see Mask as a kid who needed his help, guidance, and love, but Tune more as someone he could rely on, trust, and discuss things with. This sparked a lot of jealousy from Mask, but also set a standard in Wind's mind of how older heroes SHOULD be treating him
I have only played to the battle against Cia, and thus though the first half of the game, so I can't say too much more ATM, but I hope this will do!
Thanks for the ask! I didn't realize I had so many ideas after my playthrough!
Sometimes I think I’m funny.
Wars is so done with his friend/brother/son being a pain in his ass.

The art in question: war trio's porque te vas
this is how it happened:
Around April: so i'm scrolling tiktok and the porque te vas animation meme was trending and around the same time i had a brain worm named "Steel Can't Carry Me Now" by ElliotRosewater (you (yes, you) should read it btw)
and there were three versions of the porque te vas trend, the original in Spanish, the Portuguese, and the Russian. and all of them were devastating versions in their own way. BUT the original, spanish version threw that brain worm named steel a bone because it. was. PERFECT
