You mean, other than the thought of kicking Yusuke’s arse? Well, for something more realistic and that isn’t just a pipe dream, Kazuma loves cats! He adores them and everything about them can make him super happy, but nothing makes him happier than his own cat Eikitchi. He loves her. She’s practically his daughter and he would do anything to keep her safe.

He’s a big foolish baby who blushes over the thought of romance, to be quite honest. He’s just gotten this idea of having the sweetest love story stuck in his head and it’s something he’s grown particularly fond of. Yukina tends to be who he thinks about most where it comes to possible partners, but there’s totally feelings for someone else there too, but those are much harder to admit.

Something else that can make him blush is simple embarrassment. Kazuma is this teenage boy who tries his hardest to look cool and mature and like he’s a Big Damn Hero, but he doesn’t always succeed and stumbles can make him grumble quite a bit while a blush lances across the bridge of his nose.

As I’ve mentioned before, Mondo is incredibly easy to make blush; he really is easy mode and there’s much more than topics above PG-13 that will make him turn red in the face. There’s nicer topics that can make him fidget while his face burns too, like compliments! Mondo is incredibly easy to fluster with compliments. He doesn’t expect them, doesn’t feel he deserves them, and when he receives them there’s an explosion of colour across his face, even reaching to the tips of his ears.

Mondo is a teenager with a lot of fears and he doesn’t feel he can be truthful about any of them, not when he’s had toxic lessons about how men should act beaten into his head by a brother he looks up to more than he knows how to say. Daiya was fearless in his eyes and Mondo feels he has to be the same. He’s not, though. He’s not what his brother taught him to be no matter how he kills himself trying, and that scares him more than anything.

Before that school life of mutual killing he was also scared for his future, ‘knowing’ he was too ‘stupid’ to find work once he graduated. That kind of thing doesn’t matter now, though, after he’s become a murderer twice. He doesn’t deserve a future where he’s concerned and after what he’s done? He’s scared of himself. After all, what kind of boy ‘murders’ his brother and then someone so much smaller than him?

Typically, Gintoki’s a guy who’s kinda hard to faze, but surprisingly enough, he’s actually afraid of the dentist, so being stuck in the waiting room at the dentist is a likely way to find him feeling very uncomfortable.

Other than that, he’d also be really uncomfortable if he were stuck with a crying person and had no idea how to make them stop. He wouldn’t show it, and he’d sooner call it irritating and troublesome than uncomfortable, but he does feel incredibly bad when it happens.

Gintoki actually has a sweet tooth, so he loves stuff with loads of sugar inside, like cakes and parfaits, as well as sweet drinks. He can’t take too much sugar tho (doctor’s orders!) so he claims to stick to one sweet treat a day, but no one buys that when your fridge is stuffed to the brim with chocolate and strawberry milk.

Also, meat. He really likes meat but can’t afford to buy it most of the time back in kabuki-cho.

Oh, all kinds of things! He tries not to let his dreams remain dreams, however, and does his best to fulfill them. Though, he has spent an awful lot of time thinking of some of his travel companions... Not that he’d ever dare entertain those thoughts, that would be preposterous, assumptive, no-- no, he couldn’t do that at all!

earth: what is your strongest personality quality?

His answer is furious silence, a noncommittal shrug and narrowed eyes turned to the side, in search of something to glare at. Mondo has nothing to say to this question, not when there’s so many reasons he feels his entire person is a problem. Maybe he’d have had a false claim before a great number of things, but there’s no point now; the Crazy Diamonds are dead and the promise he built a young life around keeping is broken. Posturing no longer has a point.

ginger lily: do you think you have maternal instincts? if someone needs to be taken care of, do you take up the task?

It’s a moment spent too long in silence before Mondo shifts his weight from one foot to the other, his hunched shoulders showing his discomfort. ❝I guess.❞ He’s reluctant;. Incredibly reluctant, but he doesn’t answer this question with bitter quiet. ❝I try to help people an’ I’d protect any kid that needed it, but I can’t say I’d trust m’self around ‘em. I don’t think I’d trust m’self around anyone anymore.❞

He doesn’t care to say more than that, but after a moment he turns away and snarls damnation to himself. ❝Fuck this question.❞ After all, Mondo can’t help but feel it’s made to hurt.

Unfortunately for Katsuhira, sleep is not an easy thing for him. He often looks sleepy, with bags underneath his eyes from how he cannot fall asleep easily. He has a ritual to fall asleep, which takes nearly three hours to complete. It starts with him getting ready for bed, but he doesn’t immediately go to lay in bed. Try as he might, he cannot fall asleep even with the help of sleeping aids and natural remedies. He simply cannot fall asleep so easily, as often his dreams make him restless. He cannot remember his dreams, but he thinks they hold important facts about his past that he cannot remember.

acai berry: what is something you’ve always wanted to try but have been too scared to?

“Uh, well…” It feels like he should have something grand ready as an answer, some kind of declaration, but instead Kazuma tilts his head with a thoughtful frown. “I kinda just do whatever I feel like doing. I don’t think there’s ever been anything that I’ve wanted to do, but’ve been too scared to–”

The sudden cutoff stands out, but Kazuma doesn’t look like he cares to explain. Instead, he’s a sudden laugh and a wave of his hand–one he hopes seems more dismissive and casual than almost frantic. “Nothing! I don’t have anything I’m too scared to do! I’m a man, after all! What kinda man would be too scared to tell someone they like ‘em?! Not me!”

sage: if you could give someone one piece of life advice, what would it be?

It’s a question that makes Kazuma avert his gaze, that makes him shove his hands deep into his pockets and hunch his shoulders. It’s not that it’s a difficult answer, but that it reveals he worries more about a certain someone than he’s able to easily admit.

“If anyone needs advice it’s that idiot Urameshi.” He’s a forceful shrug, before he changes his posture and pulls himself to his full height. “That guy could use an entire truck load of advice, but I guess the most important thing I could tell him is, well… don’t forget you were human long before you were part demon or whatever. I ain’t gonna be ‘round forever to remind you of that sorta thing.”
