Which chaos guy has the most fun?

Not Khorne. Khorne hates fun. Khorne is only having fun when he’s having no fun. Or when he’s fucking with Skarbrand like he’s an old ex who is easily manipulated.

But Nurgle? Nurgs has a GREAT time. He’s more jolly than Santa. He is the embodiment of “Do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Coming up with new plagues turns him into that kid who’s so excited to give you a gift that they can’t help spoiling the secret. Sure, he can get mad. But even then he is more often disappointed that people are trying to eradicate the presents he wrapped up so nicely.

Tzeentch? Tzeentch isn’t focused on fun, necessarily, and he isn’t generally good natured like the rot man. HOWEVER he is basically the god of pranks. He created the Changeling, who has arguably the most fun out of ANYONE in 40k or Fantasy. I mean, based on the Changeling’s humor alone (Locking Khorne out of his own house, giving Slaanesh a bad haircut, introducing enslaved green skins to the idea of a Communist Revolution), and knowing daemons are part of their god, you HAVE to assume that Tzeentch has an absolutely incredible sense of humor. In fact, “I made a shapeshifter exclusively to fuck with people and play pranks” is the kind of shit only a real comedian would do. Even his plots could be viewed as just very long and convoluted jokes with punchlines that would make the Joker wince at the body count. So while we have less obvious examples of him personally having fun, it’s clear that Tzeentch does have lots of fun, mostly on the joking side of things.

Slaanesh? I probably don’t need to go into this, really, but come on. They’re the god of hookers and blow. The god of “here for a good time, not a long time.” The god of good food, good sex, good drugs, art, music, and niche special interests. They are literally referred to as the God of Pleasure, the Prince of Passion and the God of Joy. They’re the god of pain, yes, but also the god who makes you ENJOY pain, to the point that even when they get isolated and imprisoned they aren’t too upset because it’s just a new thrilling experience; so the pain and misery also becomes a fun thing. Now perhaps the fact that these are all part of the profile means that it isn’t fun, this is as fun as breathing to them, but that seems a bit uncharitable. They actually enjoy all those things even more than anyone else would be capable of. So they are the god of enjoyment but also the god who is most equipped to enjoy anything. Therefore, arguably the god who has the most fun. That said, they are also probably the most easily offended or disappointed because of pride and vainglory and obsession, so maybe that detracts.

I have my opinion, but I bet people disagree.

Ideally it would be on my own website with Nekoweb or possibly Neocities, but if I have to put it somewhere, it might go on Pocketcast. Hell, I might just put it on Tumblr.
