Reblogged Warm Fuzzy
How My Father and I Drew a New Life By Brian Frazer June 16, 2023 When I was 13, my mother learned that she had multiple sclerosis. By that point she couldn’t drive, get dressed or walk by herself. My father became her sole caretaker, and she was less than appreciative. When she rang the buzzer, he never got there fast enough. When he brought her a glass of water, there was never the right…

When someone who struggles with accepting affection, accepting they feel affection, and showing affection, starts randomly ploping their head on your shoulder for a couple seconds at a time, with increasing frequency whenever you hang out.
That's a warm fuzzy.

I had no idea I needed a Korean dad. Now I'm not sure how I got by without him 😁
i wanna bring back warm fuzzies
in my elementary school when you did a good deed you got a warm fuzzy- a mini puffball/ pom pom. it was meant to represent the warm fuzzy feeling you got from doing something good, but it also gave kids incentive to do more nice things than they wouldve done otherwise.
some of them had eyes, some didn’t, and me and my brother took it really seriously. these were our babies. our pets. we built homes for them but... even more so, every single one was different.
i dunno i think giving out warm fuzzies would help a lot of people these days. and i think the internet as a whole needs them.

It's funny, I guess. Or maybe ironic, or something, not sure. The farther apart we are, the closer I feel to him. We are dating now, officially, have been for almost One Month, two weeks of which we will have spent apart by the time the actual month-iversary rolls around. Maybe it was just period hormones or whatever (*cough cough* that dream), but I have been thinking about him a lot recently. Not really actively thinking about specific things, but he just pops into my mind every couple hours while I'm at work or writing college essays or whatever. I think I really miss him, for real this time, which is really weird because I didn't even really miss him when we were on different continents for months.
Last time we went on a date, it was super awkward and we barely talked at all (to be fair, it was a movie), but now I just feel so warm and mushy when I think about spending time together. His parents are going to vegas in 2 months and he invited me over to his home alone to watch movies and make paella and stuff, and that just makes my heart absolutely melt to think about.
Ever since that last date, I keep thinking about kissing him. It's kinda dumb, considering we haven't even properly held hands yet, but I just can't stop thinking about when and where and how and how it's going to feel and, and.... I don't even really know.. I suppose this is "yearning". Yeah, I guess that's the right word, the right feeling.
I said before that I thought I could love this boy, properly fall in love and do things the right way. I think I still believe that, that if everything else wasn't in the way, we could be really, truly in love. But it seems like we are both kinda busy with life and senior year is probably only going to get busier and a year is not that much and this is all so new to me and wow, there is not as much time in the world as I thought.
I once told a boy that I loved him after a week of "dating" (,or, what we thought was dating). I would find that I loved every one of those crushes, throwing my affections and soliloquies towards a new target every few months. But after cookie-cutter crush upon cookie-cutter crush, I am suddenly at a loss for words. It's funny, I guess.
Hi lovely! Just dropping by to tell you that you're awesome and I hope you have a great day! 💕
Hello friend!
Thank you for sending what feels like a big floofy panda cuddles my way. It was a wonderful, wonderful thing to receive today. I feel like I can never adequately explain how much these kinds of messages mean to me. Today’s been a bit of a low day for me so this is even more appreciated than normal.
